The Tiny Jane Project
No matter what subject you study, there are always a few names continuously mentioned as the godfathers/godmothers of a movement. You won’t attend a planning or preservation course without Jane Jacobs cropping up at least once or twice. With The Death and Life of Great American Cities, she challenged the prevailing attitudes toward city planning and interconnectivity of communities. The Tiny Jane Project came across my radar and piqued my interest as an ingenious way to both raise support and connect preservationists and planners through social media.Â
