🧚🏾: the lack of communication and conversation nowadays between people truly makes me mad. as someone who thrives off of that kind of connection, it makes me feel insane when other people don’t even know how to talk or just even start a conversation with someone else. it doesn’t even have to be for romantic purposes. i just want to make friends, i wanna meet new people, i want to finally get out of my shell for once.
but the way people act nowadays is only proving to me time and time again why i stick with my small circle and move on with my life. because this is absolutely crazy. and it’s making ME feel crazy and i don’t like that. i’m already not a huge people person or a fan of meeting strangers but whenever i try to branch out and speak to new people it always bites me in the ass because it’s NEVER reciprocated.
and i am HUGE on reciprocity. why would i continue to speak with you when you can’t even do the same?? it feels like a wast of time.
i’m saying all this to say LEARN HOW TO TALK TO PEOPLE!!! FUCK
