honestly there are multiple like the olympic shift and stick gate 1 and 2, but for me, what sends me absolutely crazy, makes me scream and cry and freak the fuck out, is the smelling salts. the smelling salts ritual just feels so intimate and special. the fact mack does not do it for himself, but did for a little present for will. mack has had multiple chnaces to grab the salts first, but no, will has to be the one to hold them.

did this start in a practice session? did they do it as a one off and it became a superstition? why does will have to hold them? does he need the control or does mack need him to take that control? what feeling does it give them? other then the wake up?

to lean in and be so close and with so many people around so many cameras, knowing is everyone is watching them, but that moment is just for them!
