But it’s only been unconvincing and messy to tinhat shippers. It’d be like if NASA catered to flat earthers and spent most of their time trying to reeducate them instead of focusing their attention on the rest of population who don’t partake of that conspiracy. The average fan of Luke and Nicola will see their SO on their grid and read an article calling their SO a bf/gf and take it at face value. Also, I don’t think it’s PR teams who would make a picture “disappear.” It’s harassment by fans that causes this. Just like when a public account goes private.
don’t worry, I’m not saying this was made for tinhats. just that when things are vague, delayed, or suddenly vanish, it feeds them. even if that’s not the goal.
no, PR isn’t deleting posts. but when something disappears right after a wave of chaos, people notice. and spiral.
the rollout doesn’t have to cater to conspiracy to accidentally fuel one. especially when everything feels like improv with no narrator.
maybe all it takes is one clear story. even if it’s not the one people want. it seems like they’re trying to do that already. the smart move is to stop making the personal part of the plot. it’s clearly not helping.
Why would Nicola and Luke’s PR teams cater to tinhat shippers? Tinhat shippers make up a tiny fraction of their fanbases and their PR teams know that. Tinhat shippers can be very vocal and persistent but harassing friends/family/SOs, making public accounts go private and looking insane to outsiders ie. DM bringing up the baby gossip, doesn’t really accomplish anything
“do PR teams cater to tinhats?”
they don’t plan for them. but sometimes they respond to them. especially when the chaos spills outside the fandom.
how many times have we seen one of Luke’s relatives post a cozy pic with Antonia, the fandom explodes, and then the post vanishes? some of that may be accidental. some might be bait. either way, it shifts perception. and once that happens, someone will try to manage the fallout.
but I don’t think this rollout is controlled. it feels like damage control stitched together week by week.
Luke may have found a rhythm with his partner, but once the hate kicks in, there’s pressure to "show" the relationship. even if no one’s convinced. even if the execution is messy. (and it has been).
so we get the weird middle: just enough visibility to say "we exist", not enough to make it land.
the result? less hate, maybe. but also less trust. and more confusion.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the strategy, if we can call it that, kept changing. under pressure. under contracts. under panic. maybe someone even thought: if this tinhat army won’t go away, maybe we can use it?
plenty of fandoms live off that kind of ambiguity and speculation. Hannibal ended a decade ago and Mads still jokes about Hugh at cons. fans eat it up. I get it. better to lead the chaos than get dragged by it.
(yes, that’s from Bryan Fuller’s own story. he knows exactly what he’s doing)
but I don’t think anyone expected this much noise. now they’re stuck with it, trying to "neutralize" the chaos without a real plan. maybe they’re keeping the grey zone on purpose. could be useful for season 4.
also, the baby theory? everyone talks like the relationships are confirmed. and maybe it is, just not by them.
and if you’re wondering why they still haven’t addressed the baby theory, same. which leaves enough space for every theory, including the wild ones. and maybe that’s intentional.
but mostly it looks like improv.
and I do love the little coincidences. Luke and Nic buy theatre tickets in different countries on the same day, just to make sure no one thinks they’re even on the same continent. or maybe they’ve just got a shared signal from the PR-cosmos.
it’s not strategy. it’s reaction. and the fandom filled the silence the way fandoms always do — obsessively, creatively, and a little chaotically. 🌀
so what now?
if you’re still here, maybe just enjoy the ride. it’s already theatre. might as well find the parts that entertain you. and who knows — you might still get the ending you’re hoping for.
as for the actors, and the teams quietly watching it all unfold: consistency wouldn't hurt. plan. pace. pause. the basics. don’t vanish on a wave of hate, then resurface with cryptic chaos. separate the personal from the professional — before the internet does it for you.
what do you think? because at this point, I’m just keeping notes in case we ever decide to do it better. 📓 I can’t wait to see what they try for season 4. because if this is the pre-show mess... the actual promo might be art. or fire. or both.
Uno Racing blurred bjyx banners on their GT race video 🔥 There's literally no possibility that it wasn't consulted with Yibo and team 🥴
I hope one day tinhats will understand that they're not wanted 🤞
Update 250327:
It turned out that in the first version of the video Uno forgot to blur a phone cover with bjyx stuff. When it was pointed out to them, they corrected it immediately, blurring the cover 👇
Uno: Thank you for your careful inspection. Although our specialty is racing, it is also our responsibility to protect the rights of artists. Thank you again!
We have replaced the video on other platforms beyond the official account.
My comment:
This isn’t the first time bjyx materials have been identified as violating Yibo’s rights (let’s not forget the well-known Lyfen lawsuit), and certainly not the first time bjyx content has been blurred by platforms or entities associated with him.
What makes this instance even more telling is that Uno has no reason to act this way - except for their genuine belief that bjyx content conflicts with Yibo’s rights. Uno isn’t a brand contractually tied to him, nor a government body that could be accused of homophobia or ignorance of the situation. Uno is Yibo’s own team, a group of people working closely with him and likely knowing far more about his reality than any of us do.
If bjyx behavior were acceptable to Yibo - or if their claims held any truth - Uno would have had no reason to blur those banners or any other bjyx-related items.
Such a clear and deliberate rejection of bjyx by people from Yibo’s inner circle is highly meaningful - and should give many "fans" something to think about.
Hello! A bit of a tin hat over here, although I don't really like Jensen (and I've tried, but his big ego ughh). I've been reading your blog, and there are things I agree with, but others I disagree with. I mean, we unfortunately don't know the reality and it makes us speculate, which drives me mad because I would love to decipher this puzzle.
Now.. I believe above all that Jared is the most important person in Jensen's life, it's evident in what he says and does, especially behind the scenes. They both use a lot of sarcasm from what I've seen, and I think Jensen uses that grumpy attitude (if you see how he acts with everyone else, he doesn't do that, he just laughs.. a lot.. a bit exaggerated but maybe he does it because he's happy? Or perhaps he had a drink beforehand to be more uninhibited or something like that) so I think with Jared is one of the few moments we see his true personality. Don't believe everything you read or hear, there are many people saying all sorts of crap things.
Now, when Jensen said at a convention that he still lived in Texas and wanted to be with his family all the time, it makes sense, LA is where Daneel (beard) is and for me *chaotic… it's the payment for his work, that's why I believe TW was managed by her, and the worker's complaint was due to her poor management. I think Genevive (Jennifer) (the other beard) was paid through the blog and advertising, etc. But now I believe they have finally managed to reduce the time with both to just the essentials, only events or advertising. The same way they are gradually getting rid of a horrible human being, Misha.
Speaking of Misha, he thought he was making a good move using Jensen to make money, but all that cult with the minions is going to torture him for life. The guy clearly isn't very intelligent, he manipulates, yes, but he didn't see the consequences, now he's going to be out of work for life because he has all his toxic fans always on his back. Apart from the fact that it is very unpleasant, and surely J2 only tolerates it because they have no other choice. I don't know if he manipulates his other co-workers etc., and from my point of view, the guy must know the truth and it doesn't work for them to have him against them, so he could say and he shouldn't, so he keeps using them. Maybe I think he only uses Jensen's image; lately, it seems he even photoshops his "encounters". I don't think J2 is linked to a company (which according to what I read) makes scams (?). Anyway, I see that Jensen is used a lot in podcasts, in advertising, in "donation" events. J2 for me are linked a lot to donations, only that the one who shows his face is Jared, while Jensen remains anonymous. Don't you think Jensen wouldn't do anything for Jared? Because I do! Twice he said he would give a bullet for him and it is the least he has said.
It is very understandable because they are doing things the way they are doing it. They have every right in the world. They have their private lives and we have to respect. They are actors, the important thing is their work.
What happens is that I would like to be 300% of what I am saying or conjecturing.
I also believe that Walker was Jensen, the official director (his co-workers said they saw him often, and in an interview Jared said that during the breaks he went to his trailer to play the Super Nintendo with Genevive(?) Hahahahaha with Jensen for sure. Weren't Big Sky and the Walker spin-off in the same state?
They were always codependent, it is likely that they are trying not to be so codependent.
I would love to see more conventions and J2 without Misha, Genevive, or Daneel, they seem like horrible people and it must be affecting their lives more than ever. I don't know how they endure.
When I was browsing your blogs I saw a couple of curious things, but I don't agree with them. A JIb, you don't remember that both J2 cancelled their departure in the beginning, and then Jensen ended up going reluctantly. It doesn't seem strange to them, it seemed that they had forced him, and when he said something like "those who are not there send them.." and he was cut off and continued "they don't send them anything.." I interpreted as.. Having at that Convention it was clear that Jared's fans and many bibros/tinhats were not going to go, (and that the attendance was bad) for obvious reasons.. so they were basically Minions or AA, right? I think it was Jensen's sarcasm, annoyed to be there and clearly to that sector of fans (especially the minions and many AAs) who are cuckoo. And I repeat they use it a lot, when also in this blog, I saw a post of Jensen going to the radio or a podcast to talk about politics. I don't think he wanted to be there in the first place. There are many of the spn cast who are great "friends" with Misha from what I see and the only thing that matters to them It's the money.
Be careful, what I see wrong is to squeeze the fans, conventions seem to me a good resource for actors to advertise, but I hate it when I see that they use them, as Misha and others do. I mean, spn is done!! I don't think will continue and I hope not, Misha destroyed the tv show. Although now that I think about it, if they get rid of him, there could be an interesting return, but only with J2, only they are the heart of spn.
And regarding the ring, they are making many programs where they have to take them off… maybe he forgot… Many tinhats have speculated how on certain occasions(outside), both j2 had the same ring (which is peculiar) and Daneel was there and he was upset… I don't know… but clearly it was because he was at conventions… and I think he has 2 rings, a real one (which he may have on a necklace) and the fake one that would be playing with Daneel's…
I really want to know more about j2.
I am sorry that they cannot be themselves, because they are a same-sex couple. Maybe they are getting rid of the bad influences in their life, but they should eliminate Misha headfirst, for example.
I know it's not a tinhat blog, I know you don't like Jensen (and neither do I, I try, but I can't).
But,I would love to see more of them together, both at conventions and on TV shows, it is missed a lot.
sorry for my English!
Hey Anon, like you said I am not a tin hat blog so there is nothing I can actually add to what you have shared but to each their own. You are entitled to your opinion.
Having said that if there is anyone who would like to speak to anon on J2 please do so through this post.

Hi Jo, a question that always boggles my mind is, why does Yibo let the bjyx rumors grow this much. Why can't he or his team make an official statement that they don't have anything to do with XZ and his team. It will end all this nonsense once and for all
My dear Anon,
Thank you very much for your question and I apologize for the late reply. By the way, to all those who send me questions, I apologize in advance for the delay in responding and ask for your patience.
Returning to the question, I must admit that I have pondered this matter myself on numerous occasions, and I have a few theories I'd like to share. However, the most honest response I can offer is simply, "I don't know." The reality is that, as outsiders, we lack genuine insight into the complexities of what transpires behind the scenes. The world of celebrities is largely unfamiliar to most of us, and even though we might speculate about the unspoken rules that govern it, we will never truly understand all the nuances at play. What we observe may merely be a façade, a carefully crafted performance, and the motivations driving those actions will likely remain a mystery.
That said, I would like to share my perspective on this topic. I want to emphasize that this opinion is inherently subjective, yet it is grounded in information that is publicly accessible and easily verifiable.
1. Contract with Yuehua Entertainment
It’s important to keep in mind that Yibo has been tied to a contract with the parent company, Yuehua, for many years. The specific details of this contract remain unclear, particularly regarding how it governs aspects of his personal life and public image. However, it's evident that Yibo seldom discusses his personal life publicly; instead, those matters are typically addressed by the agency through official statements. This approach applies not only to defamation cases but also to dating rumors that circulate about him.
If this is indeed the case, such contractual clauses may grant the agency significant control over how Yibo presents his personal life, potentially shielding both him and the company from issues that may arise. While it appears that Yibo enjoys considerable freedom in selecting his projects, there seems to be an underlying tension between him and his boss, Du Hua. This friction was noticeably apparent during the recent Yuehua event. The roots of this conflict remain a matter of speculation. It may not stem from being forced into particular work, but rather revolve around personal matters, fan interactions, or perhaps other unspecified issues.
2. Publicity
What Yibo and Yuehua likely want to avoid is any official publicity regarding bjyx. Publicly addressing these rumors would inadvertently confirm their validity as dating rumors, which, in reality, they are not. Such acknowledgment would open the floodgates for public commentary and almost certainly propel the topic to trending status. While it's one thing to recognize bjyx as a fictional concept created by a small group of fans and simply ignore it, it's quite another to lend it credibility through official statements. No Chinese entertainment agency publicly addresses the existence of "ships," as doing so would be seen as trivial and unprofessional. Denying one rumor would necessitate denying others, which would be both absurd and inconsistent with the dignity of the artist and the agency.
It's also crucial to consider Yibo's strong reputation in China. He is viewed as a positive figure and actively participates in numerous promotional efforts for his country, including sports and tourism. Publicly acknowledging "ships," particularly those with homosexual connotations, could severely damage Yibo's reputation and image, jeopardizing his future ambassadorial roles and marketing contracts. It's unlikely that he and his agency would be willing to take such a risk.
3. The futility of opposition
The belief that an official statement opposing bjyx can "end it all" is overly optimistic. The behavior of so-called "tinhats," obsessive fans with conspiracy theories, suggests that even debunking a "ship" by the artists or their representatives won’t shake their convictions. Even the official relationships and children of the "shipped" artists did not deter the "tinhats" from fanatical actions related to their beliefs.
I often draw parallels between bjyx and the Larries (fans who obsessively ship two former One Direction members). Anyone familiar with the Larries knows that despite the artists' firm opposition, these fans persist, even going so far as to claim that one artist's partner and child are fake. It’s hard to imagine anything more disturbing.
A brief investigation reveals that Larries and bjyx operate under similar patterns; the modus operandi of these groups remains consistent.
In conclusion, even strong opposition to a ship might lead to no change at all, and if anything, it could worsen the situation.
4. The hate campaign
While it's true that some shippers might choose to depart from the fandom in response to outright opposition, it is equally likely that an even larger group will perceive this opposition as an affront to their beliefs and identity. Unfortunately, this isn't just idle speculation; we’ve seen similar attacks arise from the bjyx in the past. These incidents range from bjyx's hate comments during the dating rumors and the 88 incident in 2019 to aggressive actions against Yibo’s brands that openly rejected bjyx, culminating when Yibo removing "cql" (untamed) from his bio. This latter action sparked an avalanche of insults and threats directed towards him, including extreme threats to his personal safety. Because Yibo (diplomatically) opposes bjyx, he has become a target for vicious online and offline harassment.
Now, let’s consider the potential fallout if his opposition were to become completely open, official, and public. Such a stance would directly challenge the identity of the bjyx fandom, exposing an amount of deception and, for some, jeopardizing their financial interests. Many would feel betrayed, but rather than channeling their frustration towards the individuals responsible for the deception (namely, influential bjyx accounts and people connected to cql) they would likely redirect their anger towards Yibo himself.
Does Yibo need more haters? Absolutely not. Given that he has weathered previous attacks and is diligently working to bolster his career, he certainly doesn’t require another hate campaign arising from something so trivial.
In conclusion, if remaining silent can achieve the same or even a more favorable and safer outcome than outright denial, then choosing to ignore is certainly the wiser path.
5. Yibo denied bjyx in 2019
In this discussion, we find ourselves questioning why Yibo has not expressed clear opposition to bjyx at the moment. The underlying issue seems to be why he would need to reiterate this opposition once again. After all, during and after the broadcast of cql (untamed) in 2019, Yibo and his agency already addressed bjyx and rejected it.
In an interview promoting the show, when asked about the possibility of the on-screen couple being together in real life, Yibo firmly stated, "Impossible, impossible, really impossible." The impact of his words was heightened by the presence of his co-actor, who also denied the cp.
Shortly thereafter, Yuehua released an official statement confirming that "Wang Yibo is single," which should have put an end to any circulating rumors and speculations.
However, it did not happen. This brings us back to my earlier point about the futility of opposition. No amount of rejection, be it official, unofficial, explicit, or subtle, will sway those who are deeply invested in their beliefs. Thus, if a clear rejection now could jeopardize Yibo’s reputation and career, it might be wiser to maintain the current status quo.
I hope this lengthy explanation has comprehensively addressed your question, dear Anon. If not, please don't hesitate to reach out again.
I wonder if the tinhat, RPS people are finally giving up their ship? I mean Jensen has not been seen so much as at a baseball game, or any other social outing with either Jared or Misha in 5+ years. Yes they do cons, but little to no socializing outside of that. Misha just acknowledged that he has never even been to Austin, and neither he nor Jared has ever been seen near the Ackles new home in CT, or their prior home in CO. Maybe now people will realize that they are all just work buddies.
Might change for a small few, but not for most, because evidence doesn't change opinion for people that believe in conspiracy theories. They will find ways to dismiss all that.
I'm also tired of tinhaters asks concerned that Hash aren't always together with their child
It won't be just one anon sending fake concerning trolling asks to insanityclause
There are hundreds of these racist IG accounts against Hash and their child
I am aware of the number of anti-Zawe racists on IG, but this particular anon sending asks to Saney and occasionally Viv is the same person. It's in the language, tone, writing style. One of the benefits of nearly ten years of tinhats in the BC fandom is learning to pick up on stuff like that. There is one particular woman who has made herself so easy to spot all over the Internet, no matter what screen name or persona she tries to adopt, she gives herself away every time to the point where many people can see it now. There is another more recent one that I knew was not a native English speaker, and she eventually outed herself, she's from Germany. I'm too lazy to go back through all the previous anons, but if I lined up three or four in a row, you would see it immediately. Typical coward, wonder why she is hiding? Wonder why she is pretending to care about their son or the strength of their relationship when it is clear where she stands?
