My May 2022 toy haul finally arrived. A lot of the stuff got delayed for June/July, so I am a bit terrified of shipping costs, now that Japan Post has increased their prices. I was hoping Air Mail would save me some cash, but it doesn’t seem like it will be the case.

I usually don’t collect Kirby stuff, because he is too cute and pink for my taste. However, I did get a plush once from a virtual Japanese crane, I forget the name. I’ve been tempted by the Banpresto Dolce collections, but I have managed to keep myself from getting any -- mostly because they are overpriced second market and kind of hard to get from Japanese sources (or so I believe). These figures are super inexpensive however, and super tiny, so I got two. I am kind of tempted to get all the rest (I think they only re-released four so far).
I was able to get the second PuriPla Obitsu Kewpie mini plastic model before it sold out, so I’m pretty happy about it. However, the hoarder in my wants to get one more of the version with the kitty, so I can actually build one. These are so freaking adorable (to me), I kind of love how they look unbuilt in their tiny little packages (this version is already SO at AA, so I am hoping I won’t miss out on a second one of the kitty one-- but I have so much stuff that got delayed, I don’t know if I’ll be able to due to s/h costs!). DX
Of course I have to keep hoarding acrylic stands/figures and clear files like a nutjob. If it’s Eren or Sasuke, I’ll have to get them, even if I know I shouldn’t (they make shipping costs quite a bit higher, the clear files do!).
