HAHA Well of course from the casino! since they both work there and what not. Connie was just a new emplo-- wait wait all started when Connie came in the casino and did something stupid because their pride and rejected gambling and thought they could outsmart the devil (kinda ) and gave him 3 riddles! Of course Dice and Connie were there in event but from Connie’s wits and overall almost fooling the big man, the Devil was impressed and thought Connie would be a interesting part in the devil’s casino crew and which Connie did! and you know the devil took their soul and yada yada ( I do have the whole story but it’s a bit too long? ;; ) Now back to being the new employee, yes Connie was the new one in the casino and Dice as the manager walked about and instruct them what goes down before leaving them alone and make them do their thing. Dice didn’t think much about them really but only his underling. Went on like that for a couple of weeks and a month until he actually sees some value in Connie’s existence, they’re hard working, very good at reeling in patrons, seem really friendly with many! Connie has very good charisma when it comes to making someon do something, grabs attention and controls the stage as if everyone is under their spell, but he didn’t buy in their charming attitude at first because ya know, Mr. King Dice thinks very highly of himself and he thinks “ Oh they’re just a mere magician of course they act that way to get what they desire “ and continues on. So it’s been pretty much going on like this for awhile! Until a day Connie caught Dice off guard and you know, you want to leave a good impression on the boss guy since he’s the manager and Connie is naturally nice so you know when they ask for certain things, Connie is very bubbly and very energetic in their step and Dice caught onto that and again he thinks they’re like this because “ Magicians are good at lying and charm their way into things yadda yadda” but Dice learns laaaater on this Magician’s generosity and behavior and mostly when it’s towards him is genuine ;) ( Listen I really did write up a huge thing on how these two develop and this is only a tiny summary of a part of it, there is way more build up, way more emotional bond , getting to know eachother, friendship I basically made their relationship one big slow burn LOL )
