 at  first  he  blinks,  then  blinks  again  followed  by  a  tilt  of  his  head.  judging  by  the  quizzical  look  he  is  giving  the  other,  it  appears  that  he  has  absolutely  no  idea  what  the  other  is  talking  about.     ❝      sounds  ?  what  kind  of  ...  sounds  are  you  referring  to,  might  i  ask  ?      ❞     thin  finger  pushes  the  corner  of  his  lips  upward  a  little.     ❝            would you mind repeating them ?      ❞     however,  upon  seeing  the  other’s  refusal  of  doing  so,  he  slowly  is  starting  to  get  as  to  what  joseph  may  be  referring  to.  

     ❝      oh  !      you  mean    —      ❞     what  follows  next  is  without  question  a  moan.     ❝      well  you  see,  the  reason  why  i  do  that  is  because  ...      ❞

Heavy rain fell upon the Mistwood canopy in drenching sheets, flooding the lush forest floor. Zhang San wades through the ankle-deep water, holding his arms overhead. He struggles to peer through the murky air, only seeing streaks of the raindrops in front of him. The summer rain produced a mist that rose from the forest floor, further obscuring his vision. The rain had been unrelenting for the past half-hour, though Zhang San had hoped the pour would last less than a few minutes. As the water began to rose, he knew he had to find safety.

Emerging from the thicket, he spots a house in the clearing. The clearing had been designed with a run-off to prevent the property from flooding in terrible rainstorms. Zhang San slide down the short slope to the clear before taking wide leaps across the soggy grass to reach the door.

Zhang San rests his hand on the outer frame, debating whether he should bother the denizens of the Mistwood. Yet, the incessant rain is cause for alarm. If he were to sleep in the Mistwood for the night, he will surely drown. He swallows the growing knot in his throat before he raps upon the door. 

 fortune  would  have  it  that  he  comes  across  him  as  he  stands  near  the  entrance  of  a  building,  having  found  shelter  against  the  rain.  the  camera  held  close.  at  least  that  has  not  changed,  but  from  what  he  could  see  so  far,  joseph  is  doing  well  :  it  makes  him  happy.  

        ❝      such  dreary  day,  wouldn’t  you  agree  my  friend  ?      ❞     bi’an  says  as  he  holds  the  umbrella  above  the  two  of  them.  a  smile  tugging  at  the  corner  of  his  lips,     ❝      it  has  been  a  while  since  we  have  last  seen  each  other  has  it  not  ?      ❞

Cotes was an ephemeral beauty with it’s vibrant greens and quirky residents, small and large alike. Unpredictable in nature as they are Eiden tries to stay vigilant  around these parts, though only to a degree as his it was his nature to get swept into surroundings. To think think that someone would built their business to such circumstances was interesting, perhaps they had the pixie’s charmed or something.

Eiden had pieced the information together from several social media accounts he followed, pictures and information alike and now stood before the beautiful building. 

Quick comes out the cellphone, he could really use selfie stick but for now his trusty arm will do the job - now check lighting.... pose aaaand ---

CLICK. 

“ Ohh not bad -- hm? “

Eiden pauses, the squints, taking a good look at the back of the pic, nearly getting a whole heartattack spotting a face on the background. Head turns quick

Ada wasn’t here.

Ada wasn’t here to tell him if he was making the right choices here or not, but...this person had also been at the manor, hadn’t he? So it would probably be okay to follow after him - especially since Ada was always encouraging him to speak with new people. 

And this was someone he had (although, not much to his face) interacted with before. He remembered that Ada had asked him if he wanted to travel, to go to France, but...he only needed her to be happy. If she wanted to explore the world, he’d be happy to go with her, but otherwise...he didn’t need to. 

Joseph had said he wanted to take a picture. While Emil was a little upset it was one he had to take by himself - it would make for a good gift when Ada finally arrived, wouldn’t it? Because surely, she’d get here soon. She would never leave him alone for long. 

( and, he couldn’t help but think that he was a little curious. he had only had his picture taken at the hospital before, and all they hadn’t even asked him beforehand. )

“You know,” Phares’ voice found itself soft with fondness as he set his cup back down against the saucer resting on the table, hands folding across his lap. “I can’t say I’m able to recall the last time someone invited me to tea just for the chance to talk.”

Well. Almost. After he had first been freed from the Progenitor - after they defeated the replica of Alberius - he and his siblings had gathered for a small party of sorts. Though really, tea and conversation had just become tea over a game of chess. Leonidas as relentless as ever while Chelle chided him - perhaps you could go a bit easy on our dear brother, Leonidas. After all, he has only just recovered from his illness.

Her sentiments had been appreciated, and he had enjoyed playing against Leonidas again even if he ultimately lost the game. He loved his siblings dearly, loved being able to interact with them again as himself, but it was...nice. To speak with someone other than his siblings. Someone who didn’t know who he once was, nor the weight of the guilt that sat upon his shoulders. Did not know of his crimes, nor demand any form of repentance. 

Piper had nothing else to do than to venture around, there is a man looked like one of those colonial ones in her world, in a form of a picture frame and painted. He definitely looked handsome and almost reminds him of one of those Minutemen from the Commonwealth, on the way he wears. Something like ‘Blue’ would wear if she’s the General but she’s not.

The camera though, she’s pretty impressed of that thing and wanting to ask on where or how to get one of those that she could use it for an article scoop, if she ever can that is.

● “Would you quit waving that thing around? I didn’t agree to have any photos taken, so how do I know you aren’t trying to sneak one without me knowing?” Leave it to the Baobhan Sith to assume the worst in others when she was probably worse. Really, though, she just liked to cause problems on purpose.
