Il Venerdì Santo di Maurizio Zaccardi. Parma 2019 - È Venerdì Santo, all'ora di pranzo, passeggiando per Parma, incontro Maurizio Zaccardi che mi invita a visitare il suo laboratorio nascosto su in alto a ridosso delle volte della Chiesa di San Rocco. Stupiscono quegli spazi mai immaginati, i loro equilibri precari, l’arte disordinata che si respira insieme al forte odore di tabacco bruciato, di vernici e di legno antico. In silenzio, in quel fumo sbiancato dai raggi del sole d’aprile, sbiadisce lo sguardo dell’artista intento a contemplare Gesù disteso, inchiodato alla croce. - It is at lunchtime on Good Friday, while walking through Parma, that I meet Maurizio Zaccardi who invites me to visit his workshop, hidden high above the vaults of the Church of San Rocco. Such an amazing, unimagined, precariously balanced space, the jumble of art that you breathe together with the strong odour of tobacco smoke mingling with paint, varnish and antique wood.
