বয়স বাড়লে সময়ের গতি বেড়ে যায়। মনে হয় এইতো দু'দিন আগের ঘটনা। অথচ ঘটনা আর উপলব্ধির মাঝে পাঁচ কিম্বা দশবছর পার হয়ে গেছে। এটা আমার মতোন সবার মাঝে উপলব্ধ হওয়ার কথা। বছরগুলোও খুব দ্রুত শেষ হয়ে যায়। এর একটা ব্যাখ্যা এরকম। আমরা দশ বছর বয়সটাতে আমাদের যাপিত জীবনের ১০% সময় পেয়েছি। আর বিশ বছরে পেয়েছি ৫%। দুই বছর বয়সে যাপিত জীবনের ৫০% পেয়েছিলাম। পঁচিশ বছর বয়সে পেতে যাচ্ছি ৪% সময়। পঞ্চাশে পাবো মাত্র ২%। আমাদের জীবনের ঘড়ি সামনে আগাবে আর আমরা আমাদের প্রতিটি বছরের যাপিত জীবনের সময় কম পেতে থাকবো। আর মনে হবে বছরটা শেষ হয়ে গেলো দ্রুত! ছবিঃvox.com #timegoestoofast #illusionoftime #timeandpatience #olderguys https://www.instagram.com/p/CJ1AP9nlmD_/?igshid=1l4p98h7yes2e
