Some appetizers before the main... aka season 2
Whatever ending 'Loki' show gets, Lokius will always be an engame for me. No one understands Loki better than Mobius; no one else in the whole MCU lays such unconditional trust on Loki; no one who knows Loki's past, still believes in him the way Mobius does, and accepts Loki the way he is thus giving Loki a whole lot of free space to grow psychologically, to mature, to conquer his inner fears and insecurities. We've already seen how character grown he already is when he calmly, never raising his voice, talked to Sylvie about Mobius last ep making an intentional parallel with Thor's Jane and his Mobius.
I have a theory that Mobius is stuck in his own loop (being recruited - work for the TVA - explosion happens - he's back to the starting point where he's being recruited again, and the cycle repeats. A real Mobius's loop, or strip indeed. It looks like a symbol of eternity which means Mobius is forever trapped in this loop) which makes his happiness with Loki impossible until he breaks this and his huge Groundhog Day (a whole centuries actually) somehow. As sad as it may sound. And for S3, if it ever happens, I want Loki to find a way to break this loop Mobius is stuck in, so that they both could finally have their happy ending.
And this pic from Ep1 is an ultimate Lokius picture for me. Mobius is standing in front of scared Loki, protecting him from any possible threats. So them, so Lokius: Mobius is a defender of Loki's soul and a healer of his mental health, and Loki is Mobius's physical defender, always ready to protect his wonderful mustached man with his magic and daggers, whenever he can.
I'm already expecting a lot of fix-it fics to read because I don't trust Marvel or Disney here. Maybe I will write something, who knows. But Lokius is a real heart of the TVA, and of the whole show. They just need to use a free will to really get what they both want and need so much.

What I heard from the Loki S2 trailer audio (speech)
Loki: Hello?
Loki: This is gonna sound strange.
Loki: I've been pulled through time and I saw terrible, awful things.
Loki: This is about everything because nothing can stand between this world and utter destruction. War is on its way.
Mobius: A little over the top, don't ya think?
Loki: I thought it was spot on.
Loki: I cant be the problem anymore, Mobius.
Mobius: Who said you were?
Loki: I don't know. Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawk Eye, Agent Coulson, Thanos, Nick Fury, my father, my brother, Miss Minutes, you.
Mobius: Hmmm.
Edit note: The bit where they clap is not as easy to hear what Loki is saying. Originally I'd assumed it was what the Slash Film article had quoted for Loki ("I don't want you to think I'm the bad guy in all this" and then "Mobius") but on further listening, it sounds more like either the above (which I've edited) or "I can't be the problem any longer, Mobius". Or it's not that. If anyone knows, let me know.
So, let's talk about the real revelation of episode 2.
Loki and Mobius can have pretty dates during apocalypses, like those pictures "5 seconds before a disaster".
This basically means:
Mobius: So, where should we go?
Loki: Titan's destruction!
Mobius: Again? We have been there, like, five times already.
Loki: I want to see Thanos's home planet getting destroyed. Again.
Mobius, sighing: Alright, let's go. *takes a picnic basket*
