if you have been reading my latest posts you might have heard that me and @saltywastelandjase are going to be posting a Fanatic (idk what to call them) I will be posting "this is a Normal Conversation between me,Alexis,and River" @saltywastelandjase is posting CROSSOVER

i will be using the Pin NC MAR to pin NC (normal Conversation) and I was talking to Jase today and we talked about using the pin "CO JCSDMC"

NC stands for Normal Conversation and Co stands for CROSSOVER

the letters after that are our oc's that are in the Main story

Kept to themes of three in a way that meshes and intermingles to canon for the main groups being: The Trinity, The Mass, and Gehenna. Then Double, the Skull Heart and Queen Lamia. Then The Father, The Son, and Beburos.

Now while it is heavily drenched in christian symbolism? And while I am religious myself actually? Double is kept vague on the actual religion and that's intentional, this was made to keep in mind that any Prophet could be 'The Son' and The Father could be any being or even Pantheon considering The Father is simply an intangible entity that encompasses any and all for what I ever mention, along with even atheism. idc, my point was never to bash on other religions or beliefs, that's not my place to personally for what i believe.

As that is the point of Double's Gehenna and form being a reflection of humanity's sins, along with The Father's Love being absolute and a common theme, along with the fact that the divine realistically? Are unknowable, intangible aspects to which that could not be feasibly or easily comprehended, let alone by someone simply human- to do otherwise is to claim you are a God, to which is blasphemy in most doctrines- as the bible and other scriptures being rewritten is contradictory etc etc. There's no real political message other than eh, maybe abuses of power from the church at times with Double's 'double standards' to her Daughters being able to do as they please at times, among a few other things not too important other than vague rl references. Along with humanity's own sins, a few generic messages weaved in here and there to give the atmosphere. Then why Double is open to shipping even if extremely hard to ship with, as it GREATLY depends considering 'The Father's Love' being their decree. As Double was once normal but 'Immortal' on the mortal plane as Queen Lamia.

Beburos was chosen as the Angel Double is since they're considered one of the Angels that will govern the end and considered 'non-canonic'. So a little biblical joke and poke at them being literally 'The Erased One'.

overall i don't hate the canon of skull girls but it was always kinda there and it's been forever? since we got any actual information regarding the whole thing. so while i'll never explain everything or how it even works. since religious eldritch horror is a jam i vibe to along with aesthetic.

then distortion text to add the themes of double's tone/distorted voice being fairly 'unique'. but also when talking about things regarding themselves as The Erased One, though religiously enforced. just when majorly applicable or fitting to the narrative
