okay so Monica states that she left Whittier Corps shortly after the first batch of Whitt Kids were ‘born’, right? Well she also states that she left 12 years ago, and considering that Magnus is 15 that contradicts the statement that she left after the first Whitt Kids. So leading into my next point, if we go ahead and assume the statement that she left 12 years before the main events of the story is the true one here, she also most likely knew Casey and Magnus as infants/toddlers. While it’s possible that she didn’t have contact with any of the Whitt Kids during her time with the company, considering the (at least implied) large role she played in the project that seems very unlikely. I dunno though, I just think it’s a cool, bittersweet idea that could’ve played a very satisfying narrative role if utalized.
