#time crunch

I’ve known about manifestation for a while and I’ve had minimum success stories. This is the first time I’m manifesting something huge though. That being $10,000 for me to enjoy while up in Calgary and to repay my dad.

It's Thursday Dec 26 and today we're driving about 8 hours to get to family, because going before Christmas didn't work. I'll see my sister on Saturday Dec 28, and when I had asked "If I draw you in the family Secret Santa, do you want me to stick to your wish list or do you want anything handmade?" she said she'd love more of the handwoven washcloths I've made before. I made something like THREE DOZEN washcloths last year and gave everyone one, so it shouldn't take me long to weave off 4 or 5 for her.

Except I realized on Sunday that I hadn't gotten my smaller (rigid heddle) loom cleared off and I had to leave my house today and while that one is technically portable, it's about 2'x2' and about 8" tall, and the car's going to be pretty full, so I'd want to be done with the washcloths before I left and AAAAAAAAAAA not happening.

So I borrowed an extra-small rigid heddle loom from my guild's equipment library on Monday Dec 23, and it fits just fine in my lap in the passenger seat as we head down the freeway. A washcloth takes me maybe two hours if I focus, I've got the rest of this drive and some time before/after seeing my husband's family tomorrow, I think I can do it.

But I should've grabbed a smaller stick shuttle. I keep having to pay attention to it to avoid jabbing Mr. Dormouse, and he was asking if I had to open the window to take it out the right side of the shed.

She'd have had the sense to go in the early morning And then she'd be home sooner

She tried to leave before it got too dark But time wasn't her friend, so she'd have to travel at night After sundown

The daylight was safer The dark held unseen dangers (and she'd like to not be pancaked)

Next time, she'd act more wisely And go in the early morning So she can be home
