But as you mighta guessed, Tiia and Odie are based off the characters from Disney's Princess and the Frog, being Life and Space players respectively.

Tiia still has the want to have her own restaurant, her family does own a restaurant chain based on family recipes and cooking, their rule to never cut corners. This is influenced by Tiana later becoming a princess within the movie.

Since this version of Tiia is born within a newer time, she could be considered as the OG Tiana's grandaughter. Still a hard worker and passionate for cooking but raised humbly with a bit more whimsy mixed. She still has abit of tunnel vision though, which makes her stubborn, being another aspect of life players when it comes to the goals. She's raised by both parents and is the type to travel into the swamp to visit her G-Mama with homemade gumbo. She's also the group straight man, able to say "Hey!! Knock It Off!!" when things get heated, and get her friends to listen. Tiia actually likes frogs, she used to think they were gross, but than she found a super cute frog and kept his as a pet named Chef Hopper.

Meanwhile Odie, being raised by her great G-ma and Mama, retains more of the OG Odies personality from the movie. She has all the whimsy and creativity space players are known for, and living on a boat with her guardians. Odie of course knows more than she lets on, being that space players seem to also be much more aware of the dream worlds than other players. She's still blind in the waking world, but much like Terezi isn't actually hindered by this, and her eye sight is just blurred to point of only being able to see a blend of colors, so she instead wears blacked out shades.
