All-Merciful God, God of powers!

From the bottom of my soul, I humbly call out to You: by the authority of Your Cross, allay the fierceness of those who hate and blaspheme Your Holy Name, defile and break the holiness of Your places of worship by savagely persecuting the faithful sons of your Holy Church.

Send your Holy Angels, in Your Name, to all of those who suffer for having professed the true faith, to give strength to all those who are faithful to You in order for them to bear Your good burden, under the guidance and with the help of The Most Holy Mother Of God and all Your saints. 

Merciful God! With crushed hearts and tearful eyes we pray to You, give heed to the crying, the lament and the requests of all the righteous Christians who are suffering because of the persecution of Your enemies.

And above all, strengthen your shepherds, oh, Lord, with the power of Your Spirit, so that they may be able to serve your flock unalterably, all by themselves, even until their death. 

And dignify all those who have received a martyr’s end to reign in Your eternal glory alongside Your saints.

Lord, You, Who, while on the cross, prayed for those who were crucifying You, and in the last hour received the thief’s repentance, don’t abandon those who denied, profaned and oppressed The Holy Faith and Your Holy Church, but rather, if it is possible, offer them the joy of knowing You, the Godly love and wisdom, and allow them to live the rest of their days in true repentance.

In You, oh, Lord, our hope lies, and we shall never be ashamed, because You are our protection, our help and the victory that triumphed over the world, the light above all other light, the joy above all other joy, the hope above all other hope, the true life and eternal salvation, and to You, The One sanctified in Three Persons, we exalt glory, now and forever and ever. Amen.
