★ --;; The last thing Vash remembers is cracking his jaw on a yawn, sitting bleary-eyed on the sofa. Regardless of whatever reassurance his counterpart and his husband have tried to give him lately, sleep has still been elusive. It's hard to tell which type of sleepless night eats at him worse at this point-- voluntary or involuntary.
When his eyes open again though, Vash is-- definitely not in his living room. The sun is high and bright in the sky, heat pressing down and oppressive in an all-too-familiar way, and instead of soft cushions beneath him Vash is met with the grit of sand under his palm. If it weren't for the singular sun in the sky as his gaze shot upwards, he would have thought that he'd suddenly been sent back home-- though that doesn't stop the panicked thumping of his heart in his chest even as he realizes that he can't possibly be back on No Man's.
But-- it doesn't look like Umber, either, as he glances around. The architecture doesn't quite match up-- does look closer to No Man's rather than not, at least from where he's sitting here in this-- uh. Alleyway? He's still not even sure how he got here all of a sudden--
"There he is!"
Huh. That's weird. Been a while since he's heard that, but he hasn't done anything worth that sort of response as of late, nor in a good long while, so--
"Get him!"
Vash whips around at the waist at the sudden sound of several sets of boots against the ground, an unfortunately familiar one, and all of them coming towards him.
"What!?!"
In less than a second Vash is scrambling up onto his feet, sprinting of fin the other direction. "I didn't even do anything!" he wails. "Honest this time! I don't even know where I am!"
