okay i've had my cackles, read more has my current plans on a few things

Bluedusk could feel the ground thrum beneath her paws as she gazed down at the excited kit- no, apprentice, her apprentice beaming up at her, practically marching in place.

He wasn't subtle at all, no matter how hard he tried.

Her uncle's ramblings echoed in her mind even as her whiskers twitched in amusement at the sight of a peeking fang from Tigerpaw's eager grin.

"That kit, he'll grow big, much too big, he can swallow the clan whole or he can lift it to reach Silverpelt THEMSELVES. It's why his father, that coward, that foolish slitprick tom-!"

What could Gooseleaf have possibly seen to warrant him yowling constantly about the clan's impending demise? What did Pinestar hear from Starclan to have their own leader flee from the sight of his kin?

Well, it didn't matter. Because it won't end that way, many don't tend to listen to a Healer's words - Sevens have patience with them - but she did.

There's still a chance to make Tigerpaw into a warrior that will let them reach new heights. Slim as it is now, without his father's guidance-

There was still his mentor, who could teach him a thing or two.

Bluedusk trilled lightly in surprise from the bump against her nose, it seemed the excitement found an outlet that lead to her almost having her face smashed into.

"Rather eager, aren't we?" Tigerpaw merely held his head high, chest puffing up and held her gaze. A fighter, a bold one, could be reckless. The sheer opposite of his sire.

She had a lot of work to do.
