Day two- let's GOO!! :D Today, I bring you the darlings from JJK! Tomorrow, who knows? (I do- but you'll have to wait and find out hehe) I hope you like it!
Day 2: Bonfire
âThenâŚjust when she thought she was safe, there was a loud, single knock at her door.â Yujiâs voice was low and creepily theatrical as he leaned forward towards the fire. âThe worst part? The knock was comingâŚfrom inside the house!â
âOoo!â Nobara and Gojo squealed like school children- grabbing each other's hands dramatically. Megumi on the other hand was struggling not to yawn, not at all impressed. Maybe it was his own hobbies playing against him, but all the âscary storiesâ heâd heard so far tonight were things heâd heard time and time again.
Not that heâd voice that outloud. He wasnât about to kill the vibe of the evening.
âShe knew she should listen to her instincts, but her feet carried her slowly towards the bathroom door..â Yuji had stood up, creeping around them all slowly like a monster, hunchbacked and clawed. âShe reached for the handle, pulling the door open and peeking out.â When did he get behind him? âShe looked left,â His voice was suddenly very close to his ear. âThen right.â He switched sides, his breath tickling Megumiâs neck. âBut there was no one thereâŚâ
Cliche story aside, Yuji certainly had a presence. Megumi felt oddly tense at how close he suddenly was.
âShe thought she was safe, but when she looked in the mirror..â Yuji leaned away, seeming to disappear. Megumi waited a moment, then another. Gojo and Nobara werenât looking at him, rather waiting with baited breath. Where was Yuji going to pop up?
âTHE KILLER WAS THERE!â Yuji suddenly screamed out, his hands grabbing Megumiâs sides and pressing into his ribs. All three of them screamed, though in his case it was more a shocked squeal. âAhhhhh!â
âIiihihihhihtadohohohohori!â Megumi fell back into his chest, nearly flying off his log seat as his sides were mercilessly tickled. âKnohhohock it ohohohoff! Thehehereâs an oohohohpen flahahahame!â
âNo worries, Gooms- weâre far enough from it. Tell you what-â Yuji wrapped both arms around him suddenly, pulling him back and completely off the log. Megumi let out a small âoofâ as he landed on his butt, still connected with the other. His shock didnât last long once the tickling started up again. âThere you go! No burns to worry about!â
âThihihihis ihihihsnât hehehelping! Ehahhahaha, gahahhaha- YUJI!â The brunette kicked and flailed on the ground, trying and failing to tug the iron-gripped hands off his torso while the pink haired boy laughed on. âNohohohobahahahara, hehehelp! Goohohohojo!â
âAww, Yujiâs comforting Megumi after the big scare!â Nobara cooed sweetly, giggling as she watched them wrestle. âWhat a good friend he is!â
âMakes me kinda jealous- I wish someone would comfort me like that.â Gojo mused with equal amounts of glee, rotating a marshmallow in the flames until it was burnt. âIâll find solace in food. Want one?â
âSure- just donât burn it.â She turned away, leaving Megumi to his fate. Traitors, both of them! He hoped they dropped their marshmallows!
âYuhuuhuji, Yuhuhuhuji stahhaap! Iâm nohohohot scahahahhared!â Megumi cried out, gasping for air when the tickles finally came to an end. âUhuuhhugh, you suhuhck!â
âPfft- heehehehe!â The stronger boy giggled, delighted. He helped Megumi back up to the log while the others sat down, smooshing melted marshmallows between chocolate and graham crackers. âI knew you wouldnât get scared over my scary stories- being the horror buff you are. I still wanted to make you scream, though.â He grabbed a marshmallow and toasted it, popping it into his mouth with reckless abandon. âYour turn! Tell us a good one, Gooms!â
â...Heh, fine.â He gave in, earning a chorus of muffled cheers. âGet ready. This one is actually gonna be scary.â

Nym's Tickleween Event
Series: Bungo Stray Dogs
Characters: Atsushi, Dazai
Summary: Atsushi is feeling out of sorts, so Dazai pulls him out of work for an autumn picnic to observe the falling leaves and cheer him up.
Word Count: 1,172
A/N: Not my first TickleTober fic but definitely my first BSD one (FINALLY!). Fair warning: I got a bit, sentimental? - deep? - with this one. Atsushi grew on me as I watched the series and I realized it might be because he reminds me a lot of myself when I was young, so... I mixed what I learned from my experience as a struggling young adult in this fic in addition to some good ol' tickle fluff. Anyways, Atsushi is lucky to have a friend like Dazai đ Happy reading~
Atsushi had been quiet all morning, keeping to himself while dutifully completing each of his tasks. There was a weight on his chest that he couldnât quite shake off. He reasoned that if he kept busy, the feeling would go away on its own.
But the feeling persisted even when Kunikida startled the office by exploding at Dazai for his laziness. And still when Dazai announced he and Atsushi were taking a lunch break, right before dragging him out of the office mid-task. Atsushi barely made an attempt to protest, he just didnât have it in himâŚÂ
The two settled down at a nearby park, where Dazai threw drown a picnic blanket and instructed Atsushi to sit down and observe the falling leaves. Groups of Yokohamaâs residents were scattered throughout the park for the same reason, but with significantly more cheer than Atsushi.Â
While Atsushi sat down and crossed his legs, Dazai collapsed beside him and tucked his arms behind his head with a contented sigh. Atsushi shook his head at the sight of his mentor, unsure how he could be so relaxed when they had so much left to do at the office⌠and when the weight of their recent battles was still fresh in everyoneâs minds.Â
How odd that on any given day, he could be sorting paperwork one minute and fighting for his life the next.
Desperate for a distraction from his thoughts, Atsushi drew his attention to a falling maple leaf, following its agonizingly slow descent, noting its colors, its shape, andâŚ
âSo whatâs got you down all of a sudden?â
Startled out of his trance by Dazaiâs question, Atsushi straightened. âOh. Iâm just tired.â
âTired?! The day isnât even half over!â Dazai sighed dramatically. âMan, I knew Kunikida was working you too hard.â
Atsushi shook his head. âItâs nothing like that.â
Dazai sat up. âThen what is it?â
Atsushi sighed and shook his head again. He really didnât want to talk about it. Honestly, he wasnât even sure if he could. To avoid more discussion, Atsushi turned his attention to an ant crawling near his hand. A moment passed, and just when he thought he was in the clear, he felt something tickle his ear. Atsushi yelped and swiftly covered it with his hand. He turned to see a grinning Dazai twirling a fallen maple leaf between his fingers, the tool used to tickle his protĂŠgĂŠ.
âW-What was that for?â Atsushi cried, feeling his cheeks flush with embarrassment.
âHmmmmm.â Dazai chuckled, âI think I know whatâs wrong.âÂ
Atsushi recoiled, wary of his mentorâs playful tone. âWhat are you talking about? I said I was tired!â
Dazai cracked his knuckles. âYep! Nothing a little giggle therapy wonât fix.â
Atsushiâs jaw dropped, instantly understanding Dazaiâs intentions. This wouldnât be the first time, of course, but why now? And in such a public setting?!Â
Dazaiâs wiggling fingers slowly drew closer to Atsushi. âHere comes the Tickle Monster, Atsushi-kun!â
A shiver ran down Atsushiâs spine in anticipation. He couldnât let this happen! If only heâd resisted Dazai earlier and pleaded for Kunikida to help, heâd still be safe at the office. So he made to leap away but it was too late. Dazai caught his sides and pulled him back, making Atsushi shriek. âDazai-san! Wait! Please!âÂ
âTickle, tickle, tickle!â Dazai teased, squeezing and digging into Atsushiâs sides.Â
Atsushi fell back against Dazai, unable do anything but tremble with quiet laughter from the sudden attack. He closed his eyes shut to avoid seeing if theyâd draw any attention to their spot in the park. And to avoid further embarrassment, he pressed his lips together tightly, stifling any laughter that would threaten to escape as Dazai continued his assault.Â
âWait a minute? This isnât rightâŚâ Dazai gasped, moving up to scribble over Atsushiâs ribs. âWhereâs the giggles?âÂ
Atsushi shook his head quickly, all while struggling to pry off Dazaiâs hands.Â
But Dazai wouldn't budge, instead, he tickled other spots to avoid Atsushiâs resistance which only tickled him more. âCâmon, Atsushi-kun! This treatment wonât work if you arenât giggling!â
Atsushi then made what sounded like a whimper as he kicked out his legs. Meanwhile, one of Dazaiâs hands moved to his belly and scribbled there too.Â
Dazai snickered. âI can feel them in there. Let them out, huh? You know you want to~â He whispered into Atsushiâs ear, âtickle, tickle~â
At the tease, Atsushi broke. âAhahahaha!â He threw his head back, giggling hysterically. âDahahahazai-san! Nohoho!â
âThereâs the giggles I was looking for!â Dazai laughed along with Atsushi. âOh, where do you think youâre going?! Weâre not done yet!â Dazai followed Atsushi as he fell back onto the blanket and curled up, hiccuping with giggles and laughter as his mentor relentlessly tickled him for several more moments.Â
âThere, feel any better?â Dazai said when he finally let up on Atsushi just as he started to tear up from laughing so hard. Â
Atsushi slowly pushed himself up, wobbly and giggly, while wearing a wide smile from his âtherapy.â He nodded in reply.Â
âYou sure?â Dazai gave one of Atsushiâs knees a quick squeeze.Â
âYes!â Atsushi squeaked. âIâm okay! Iâm feeling so much better! I promise!â And it was true. Embarrassment aside, he didnât mind being tickled. Dazaiâs âgiggle therapyâ was a good respite from his sobering thoughts.
âGreat! Mission accomplished.â Dazai patted Atsushi on the shoulder. âBut one more thing: Donât be afraid to take a break every now and then, alright?â
Atsushi looked at Dazai, confused by the advice.
âYouâve been through a lot since youâve joined the agency and thatâs putting it mildly.â Dazai fell back into his reclining position on the blanket. âIf you need to rest, just do it. Youâll never feel better if you donât.âÂ
Atsushi hung his head, âbut⌠thereâs just so much to do. And who knows whenââÂ
âItâll be there when you get back,â Dazai interrupted.
âBut what if I donât feel better?â
âYou will. Just as like how the seasons always pass from one to the next.â
A maple leaf landed on Atsushi's head and as it slid off, he caught it in his hands. Autumn was a kind of rest, wasnât it? No, it was a kind of preparation. Soon the trees will eventually be bare and then dormant, allowing for winter to appear and coat everything in a blanket of snow until itâs time to wake up. And then when spring comes, the snow will melt and the trees will awaken anew.Â
Just as spring canât happen without winter, healing canât happen without rest.
Atsushi smiled, understanding relaxing the tension in his shoulders he didnât know was there.Â
âNo. No, I think I do understand.â
âGood,â Dazai said, his eyes already closed. âNow I think itâs time for a quick nap.â He yawned, âwake me up in a bit, okay?âÂ
âSure.â Atsushi then leaned back on his hands and looked up at the sky with new appreciation for the falling leaves dancing in their descent from the tree tops.
ITS TICKLEWEEN AHHHH!!! Hello everybody! This year I'm changing it up and doing Nym's Tickleween! Girl, this list is so fun, and I had a great time writing dabbles for all the different days! It really gave me a chance to bring back some favorites and also explore some new (and old) ones! :D Naturally for the first day of the month, I had to do EiTaku- it's in my bones! I hope y'all like it!
Day 1: First Frost
âBrr..my hands hurt.â Takumi rubbed his hands together in an attempt to warm them up, not at all prepared for the sudden shift in weather. When he lived at the Tokyo Residential Complex, the temperature was always set at a comfortable degree- if not a bit chilly. He liked just a touch of cold- it gave him a reason to layer up and helped him sleep better.
Here though? After getting caught in a surprise snowstorm on his way back from exploring, he never hated the frost more. His fingers were shaking, practically useless with how numb they were.
âTakumi? Here.â Warm hands, slightly bigger than his own, came around his shivering ones. Little bolts of static shot up his nerves, making blood rush to the redheadâs face as he jumped. âDoes this help?â
âY-Yeah. Thanks Eito..â He nodded, struggling to hold the blondeâs gaze. This was kinda embarrassing, but also the most Eito-thing the other could do. âArenât your own hands cold? You took off your gloves.â
âI was running hot. Sorry if my palms are sweaty.â They were- but not enough to make Takumi pull away. His own cheeks were rather pink, something shy in his gaze as he laughed quietly. âHeh..this is kinda embarrassing, isnât it?â
âYeah, a little bit..â Oh god, why were they suddenly so awkward? It was just Eito warming his hands up! With his own. Soft, yet calloused, if Takumi looked close enough he could make out smudges of ink- likely from the blondeâs long study sessions as he learned more about his class weapon. He had nice fingers too- long and graceful, like a pianist.
âŚWhy the hell was he so into his fingers? Suddenly self-conscious, he wiggled his own involuntarily.
âHeh! Hehehey, donât do thahahat!â Eito twitched in response, a few giggles escaping his lips. âIt tihihickles!â
Oh?Â
His awkward feelings faded at the sudden discovery, and Takumi wiggled his fingers again with intention. Eito twitched more, his giggles steadily growing. Despite this clearly getting to him, he hadnât let go of Takumiâs hands. If anything, he seemed to hold on tighter.Â
Interesting, very interesting. âDoes it really? And Iâm barely touching you- too! Iâm starting to see why you always wear those leather gloves..â
âThahahtâs not whhihihihy- ehehahahha! Tahahakumi, stahhaap thahahat!â
âThen let go of my hands?â
âBuhuhut thehheyâre stihihihll coohohohld!â Eito doubled over, pressing his forehead against their conjoined fingers. His brow felt hot- was that due to his blushing or the cold? Either way it did funny things to the redheadâs belly. âI dohohohnât wahahant yohoohu to geheheht frohohostbite!â
âArenât you sweet?â Takumi pretended his heart wasnât racing at that, deciding to go for the kill as he gently scratched with his nail along Eitoâs center-palm. The blonde squeaked and released him, pulling his hands back into his chest as he carried on laughing. âWhoops- sorry, did that tickle too bad?â
âYehehehs! You did thahat on purpose!â Eito lightly kicked at him, yelping when Takumi pushed them both into the bed in retaliation. A few more tickles to his ribs had him giving back his retracted hands, in which Takumi carefully took once more. This time, he held Eitoâs within his own, thumbs rubbing sweet circles against his skin while the blonde caught his breath. âO-OohoohâŚtheyâre warmer now.â
âThey feel better too. I should hold hands with you more often.â Whoops, that slipped. Both their faces flushed a brilliant red, but neither pulled away. Eitoâs shy smile started to reappear, and Takumi cleared his throat as he looked at their joined hands.
Feeling a little reckless, he dared to intertwine their hands, watching Eitoâs throat hitch some in response. âIs this..is this okay?â He asked, fear creeping into his voice.
âYeah..this is just fine.â Eito squeezed his hands back, and Takumiâs heart fluttered as he began to smile.
Nym's Tickleween Event
Series: The Witcher
Characters: Geralt, Jaskier
Summary: Jaskier joins Geralt as he hunts for a wraith. Due to the bard's antics, The Witcher decides to enlist his help.
Word Count: 1,390
A/N: This is my first Witcher fic! I kind of got a little ambitious with this one but it was fun to write. Hope you enjoy a little monster hunting and some tickles~
âGive me the necklace, Jaskier,â demanded Geralt, walking beside the bard.Â
âIn a minute!â Jaskier pouted, admiring said necklace in his hands. Its craftsmanship was plain but it had a dark orange gem on one side, barely the size of a coin. âWhat do we need this for again?â He raised the necklace to see if he could catch a shine from the setting sun above the tree tops, but it was too overcast.Â
âTo banish the wraith I was hired to dispose of.â Geralt tried to snatch it again, but Jaskier spun around to his other side, still admiring the necklace as if he didnât notice the Witcher seething beside him.
âDo you think the alderman will let us keep it? I think we could fetch a nice price for this in Novigrad.âÂ
âDepends on whatâs leftâŚof itâŚâ Geralt slowed to a halt, noticing his wolf medallion begin to hum.Â
Jaskier turned on him, âwhat do you mean by âwhatâs left ofâ?ââ, but was stopped by Geraltâs hand on his chest. He was about to protest the interruption when he noticed an icy chill around them. âOh shitâŚâ
âHide,â Geralt hissed, pushing Jaskier aside. The bard quickly moved behind the nearest tree as the Witcher took a cautious step forward. The fog seemed to come to life around them, obscuring their surroundings. A way stone appeared with what appeared to be a shrine in disrepair beside it. Geralt realized they were at the site of the wraithâs attacks and its origins as well. He started to backtrack to Jaskierâs location.Â
âJaskier. The necklaceââ As the Witcher turned he was confronted with the translucent, rotting face of a pale woman, baring a hideous mouth of sharp teeth. âFuck.âÂ
With an ear piercing screech the wraith lunged at Geralt.Â
âNecklace!â The Witcher barked, barely dodging the wraithâs attack. âThrow it! Now!âÂ
âWhat?!â Jaskier called back, trying to discern Geraltâs demand over the spectral shrieking.Â
Frustrated, Geralt growled and rolled away from the wraith towards his companion. That was enough to make the wraith hesitate, which allowed Geralt to cast a sign at her feet once he was up. As the wraith screamed in fury within the trap, the Witcher ran to Jaskier, only to find that the necklace was no where in sight. He cursed and grabbed Jaskier, looking for pockets, pouches or any where that the necklace might be hiding on the bardâs person.Â
Jaskier screeched from Geraltâs assault, suddenly panicked by not only fear but confusion. And not only that⌠âWhat are you doing?! W-Wahahait! G-Geralt!â He yelped when Geralt found a pocket in his doublet, âthahahat tickles! Ah! Stop it!âÂ
Ignoring Jaskier, Geralt pulled out the necklace and made for the wraith⌠only to find that she was gone. The Witcher grit his teeth, stifling his anger in favor of concentrating on the environment. His medallion now quietly humming, the wraith sure to appear again at any moment.Â
âWhat the fuck was that about?!â Jaskier cried, stomping over to Geralt, his face flushed.Â
âShut up,â Geralt growled through his teeth, trying to step away as his cat eyes stared at the fog.Â
Unfortunately, Jaskier followed, griping about his ruined sash and Geraltâs âwandering handsâ as if the danger had already passed, ââand do you have any idea how much this cost?!â
Geralt had enough of Jaskierâs whining. Without a word, he grabbed the bardâs arm and led them to the shrine. âOw! What are you doing now, you sodding pervert!?â
âRemember that superstition you brought up last night at the bar?â Geralt gladly let go of Jaskier to set the necklace on the shrineâs altar.Â
Jaskier blinked, barely noticing that Geralt removed his silver sword from its scabbard and plunged it into the dirt. âAh, my apologies, but I think you need to refresh my memory, dear Witcher. I said a lot of things last night,â the bard chuckled, his tone already changed to something more suggestive. Â
Geralt rolled his eyes. And somehow Jaskier had the nerve to call him a pervert. âIâm not talking about what you said to the barkeepâs daughter. I meant your little tale about how a manâs laughter can keep away evil spirits.âÂ
âOh! Yes, I remember now!â Jaskier laughed just as Geralt noticed something quivering beneath the leaves. âI wrote a ballad about it, actually. Would you like to hear it?âÂ
âNo.â Geralt cracked his knuckles. âBut thereâs some truth to that superstition.â He looked at his companion. âWeâre going to lure out this specter. And youâre going to help me.âÂ
Geraltâs direct gaze paralyzed Jaskier in place, as well as the realization that the wraith was still a threat. âSurely youâre not suggesting I perform a comedy act in the middle of a specter-cursed forest, are you?â He giggled nervously. As the bard rambled on, Geralt moved behind him. âThat would be silly! Besides, you never laugh at my jokes. In fact, your laughter is so rare that the last of this poor altar would collapse upon hearingâEEK!âÂ
Geralt said nothing as he grasped Jaskierâs sides and squeezed them repeatedly. The bard yelped again, grabbing the Witcherâs hands to try and pry them off. âHave you gone mad?!â Â
âYou said you wanted to help,â Geralt stated, keeping alert even as his fingers began digging into the bardâs sides. âThatâs why you came along, isnât it?âÂ
Failing to remove Geraltâs hands, Jaskier could only writhe and yelp. âI am heheâ Iâm hâ Iâm hehehehere to observe y-y-your heroism!â Not help you bait monsters at my expense, he wanted to shout but he was too tickled to finish. Of all the Witcherâs many skills, he never expecting tickling to be one of themâŚ
âAnd this will be a great tale for your next performance.â Geralt smirked, unable to help himself, âThe Mighty Witcher and His Ticklish Bard.â Then his hands quickly ascended to dig into Jaskierâs armpits.Â
âGAHAHAHAHA!â Jaskier fell back against Geralt, cackling and squirming. âD-DAHAHAMN YOU!â With his arms clamped down, he was now helpless with hysterical laughter worthy of upsetting any ghost.Â
A gust swept by their feet moments later and Geraltâs medallion rattled viciously. The wraith manifested before them. Geralt shoved Jaskier out of the way and spun out the specterâs reach, grabbing his sword in the process. Jaskier whimpered and scrambled to hide behind the way stone.Â
Geralt performed a series of slashing towards the wraith, drawing her closer to the altar as he removed a pouch of moon dust from his belt and threw it at the ground. She shrieked as the dust settled, recoiling from its effects. Geralt raised his sword once more and plunged it into the necklace, shattering the dark orange gem.Â
The wraith dissipated with a bone chilling howl, leaving a fleeting image of a kneeling priestess at the altar before the autumn wind whisked it away.Â
Jaskier poked his head out from behind the way stone, âdid it work?â The dismal fog around them was fading, revealing a warm-colored forest coated in twilight. âHa! It worked! It actually worked!âÂ
âOf course it did,â Geralt sighed, sheathing his sword. He walked over to the altar, scooping the necklaceâs remains into an empty pouch.Â
Jaskier pondered, ââthe key to a specterâs demise is a little chuckle⌠enough to make oneâs knees buckleâ⌠hm, I think Iâm onto something here.âÂ
âYour laughter didnât do anything besides make my ears ring,â Geralt said as he approached Jaskier, furrowing his brow as usual.Â
Jaskierâs eyes went wide. âYou must be joking, surelyâŚâ But when Geralt did nothing but stare, Jaskier instantly blushed. âThen whyâwhy did youâ?!â He held his head and shouted, âyou were fighting a monster, Geralt!âÂ
âBecause you pissed me off,â Geralt said, shoving the pouch of broken necklace into Jaskierâs hands. âNext time Iâm given anything to help with a job, donât touch it, understand?â He started to walk away, grumbling, âI donât care how much it matches your boot laces.âÂ
Jaskier looked at the pouch in his hands, simultaneously troubled and amused by the events of their recent adventure. Perhaps they were both madâŚ
âOkay. Thatâs fair,â he replied eventually. âBut next timeâoh! Wait! Geralt!â Having recovered from his stupor, Jaskier noticed Geralt was already some distance away and rushed to catch up with him. âDonât leave me here!âÂ
