Dear Ladies’ Man Thomas the Master Playa

I’m going to keep this real short because all my memories of you are tucked very safely and securely into this one very, very precious box (which I also like to call my heart). Just for today, though, I’m going to pry the lid open just a peek because…. well, you were special to me. Are special to me.

Are you still ballin’? I hope you are. As expected I’m imagining you shooting some amazing hoops and scoring points from all over the court, because that’s Thomas Park for you, ladies and gentlemen. I miss you and your stupid ugly face and the way you love to call me stupid and ugly too because that’s just our thing. When I’m down, I occasionally look through the little box of memories I have of you and pick out the best ones and then suddenly, even if it’s just for a little while, I’m alright again. You work like magic, Thomas, but then again you’ve always been that one friend who’s just about imbued with every sort of magic. Especially the silliest kinds.

I would say that I miss Ace more than I miss you but I occasionally blubber when I think about you so I’d be lying. Say hi to Jinah for me, will you? I bet you’re with her now, as I write this. I bet you’re laughing because she’s insisting that she’s tall, and then you rise from your seat to stand right beside her and she shuts up. I bet she’s scowling at you because you put toothpaste in her morning coffee again and she’s probably going to replace your shampoo with Nair just to get back at you. Tell her for me that I’m sorry that I turned out so weak, please? I miss you both. Sometimes I wish I could join you again.

WELL– my initial plan of keeping things short obviously didn’t turn out too well…. so I’m going to stop here now. I love you and I miss you so much! Come visit me one day, ‘mmkay?

Seungeun had wanted to see the game and her son had been behaving well. They also hadn't been out together in a long time so she did promise him this and she always came through. Even now with the sun shinning, and sweat covering her face she didn't as long as she son was smiling, while his face was on the game her eyes were focused on him. It was her fault that she was this hot, a large hat and huge sun glasses but she had to hide herself, it wasn't her intention to cause an uproar and other than a few lingering glances no one said anything.

After the game they were going to have some ice cream, her son was just as excited for that. When it was over she clutched his hand and started to make their way off the bleachers. Everything was fine until the crowd started to push, every so often she had to hold his hand even harder. As much as she could see they were close to the front when a man came shoving by, effectively breaking the hold she had on her sons hand. Gina started to panic then.

A MINOR INJURY DOESN’T CHANGE her feelings, concern is shown over her youthful features. frown crossing over her lips when he explains this so-called scratch. reminding her of her father’s demeanor, who carries himself calmly with strength instead of weakness. despite naeun never frowning upon a man who explained his pain, it’s normal for any human being to feel that type of way.

“oh, stop it you.” softly speaking to him, her head shakes in protest. refusing to let it slide away and having the minor blood drip over the side of his cheek. “perhaps it doesn’t hurt but i still want to clean it for you.” if there was a constant label naeun heard many times before, it’d be an angel. willing to take the time to help those in need.

there’s no time to waste, especially not when the fan meet is later. he knows how paranoid his coach can get these days, especially towards him. thomas cannot entirely drown him on the blame, he had been gone for a good six months and there’s plenty he had to catch up to. quickly he straps his dog’s harness around his body, slipping both feet inside his shoes so he can head out for his morning jog. he permits himself to run his hand along the animal’s soft fur, silken beneath his touch.

the alarming bark that rolls out of his mouth puts thomas on a halt though and he turns to the door to which ace is barking at. he doesn’t know who could be visiting so early in the morning and curiosity burns him as he opens it hastily.

holly stands before him, a puppy held in her arms. in between a chortle of a smile and a questioning gaze, he asks, ❝is this your new pet or what—?❞

   █ ▌    Getting a canine companion was probably the best decision the twenty-one year old has ever made. However, when she decided to adopt one from a colleague’s litter, she didn’t think her pup would be so mischievous. All she wanted to do was to take him out for a morning walk outside, but instead he decides to escape from his collar and play hide and seek. Although he was more than a handful at times, Holly had to admit it was a welcoming change in her lifestyle. She only wished she could spend more time to play with him.

  █ ▌    Of course, in order to play with him she had to find him first. After searching and and low all over for her Alaskan Klee Kai she finally found him wandering around, with only a red handkerchief around his neck to identify him. As soon as she picks him up into her arms, a door opens up to reveal a familiar face. ‘No way--’ she thought to herself as she stared at the other. By random chance, out of all the places he could have wandered, Zero had stumbled across the residence of Thomas. ❝ Is this your new pet or what—? ❞ she heard him say.
