I had attempted to participate in the fanart frenzy to counter the spam and to properly thank and recognize fanfiction authors. I fell behind, but I still wished to offer a drawing to the first visionary of Cyberverse Cheetor/Thunderhowl, which happens to be the only fic in Spanish featuring any of these characters that I love by themselves.

One of a character who has otherwise been butchered constantly outside of their respective continuity and original show.

This version has been one of the only versions outside of the main show they’re from where they’re not butchered and are actually completely in character while having a few tweaks to their story.

Cyberverse Cheetor ❤️🐆

I love this version of Cheetor so damn much, he’s literally the best version of him since Beast Wars. He’s the same silly goober from the original show, and it’s such a relief to see him be himself again.

While his role in the story is kind of wack and random, they actually make it work and it’s believable.

We also ended up getting this dynamic trio.

Him bonding with Bee and Hotrod is everything, because it would totally happen and its completely in character. All three of these goobers are like peas in a pod and seeing them goof around and hang out was awesome to see.

It would've been cool to see some of the other BW characters here too. The closest thing to a Beast Wars character other than Cheetor in this show was Skybyte but he was just a remodel of Cybershark and put into RID 2000.

We also have Thunderhowl who turns into a wolf.

And Hammerbyte who turns into a Hammerhead Shark. (I wonder if him and Skybyte are related somehow).

I’m grateful for what we got, this show’s version of Cheetor is the best I've seen outside of Beast Wars, and even though the end of his story arc is pretty sad, at least his death meant something.

Dinobot would be proud of him ❤️

If we go the ‘Cybertron just births them’ angle for ALL life on the planet, then that means every species is not related to the other species, unless we introduce the fanon ‘sexual’ reproduction and like- how does that work? And because of their inherent transformations, do the fauna mimic evolution in a way?

This is one of those things that makes it infinitely more frustrating especially since it seems like transformers categorize things based on how similar they look/act rather than genetic or evolutionary history (which tbh we used to do too, but generally polyphyletic groupings are frowned upon now) though!! One could possibly group mechanimals together based on how similar/dissimilar their base CNA is in continuities with robot genetics (such as TFP with the whole predacon cloning situation)
