Derek Meddings' early concept artwork for Thunderbird 2. This was during the very early stages of planning for Thunderbirds, back when the series was to be called "International Rescue" and the craft were going to be called "Rescues 1 to 5". This early design for TB2 bears a striking resemblance to the De Haviland Comet, particularly the engines incorporated into the wings. I think this early design could work as a U.N.I.T dropship in Doctor Who.
