here’s a run down:
when shiny/simon was 18 and thomas/thunder was 16, simon was legally capable to be a fighting robot inside his yeager cause he was an adult. he basically was working with dr rose and rose but then had to work with baby alex. and since 3 year old alex made shiny in the original au, in this au, she designed simon’s robot. it was awkward at first having to fight in a big red round robot but he eventually got used to it. then he goes into the O.R.T yatta yatta. and then he meets thomas in his yeager. they fight. then they meet each other again. thomas is now 26 and simon faints. he wakes up in the med bay and meets 13 year old alex. and creed was a bit crazy about this because he couldn’t understand how he survived cause everyone thought he’d died. Nomi (oc) is the lieutenant in the E.D.F aka the baby sitter of baby alex when nomi was 12. then the first few episodes happen the same way. more on abt it later

And yes, Thomas disliked Simon just like in the first 2 episodes. But he slowly got used to it.
STORY: for the boybotfriend episode, ima use 2 pilots for the ‘unnamed mech suit’ 🤑 the pilot being dr blorgo obviously, and the co pilot being dr selgro. Selgro is the unnamed mech suit if it was a human/alien and uses him/his but you can use they/them too Idrc. So yea it plays out the same, dr blorgo coming out of starfish and Alex falling in love, and then selgro comes out and Thomas falls in love too, again 😓. Anyway they bring them to the base, yatta yatta, Thomas and Simon interrogate them. But Simon kept teasing Thomas abt his ‘crush’. Obviously selgro feels the same way too because they start to talk and kinda get closer? Uhh idk leave me alone 🤬
