It’s the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Sandy hitting here. An example of its effects is the first picture. Those two trees were left standing there with most of their branches ripped off when most of the rest of the little grove they were in was knocked down. Meanwhile down in the woods behind them, huge oaks and very old cherries and other trees were found lying on the ground when the storm was over.
