#hollow knight#silksong#hk#hkss#hornet#herrah the beast#hive queen vespa#weavers#the white lady#the pale king#three queens#so grateful u were kind enough to work with me i think it turned out sososo good#i've long been really captured by the idea that hornet could not touch her mother and now post skong that she didn't remember herrah's face#very sad to me but surely she asked around when she realized she didn't know#but what answers could they have really provided? this is very specific to my interpretations of the weavers#herrah/vespa but with vespa unintentionally distant with hornet as only mentor and not mother#and the white lady who may have admired herrah's spirit and loved her daughter but did not know the beast herself#which leaves the wyrm who so rarely interacted with his daughter despite how much he loved her#and he can provide the blunt but moving fact that they share the same face#and this is one of the only times they interact! or at least one of the only times she remembers#idk it's all very tragic to me. she's so loved but everyone is so complicated and their love is complicated#and it can never be truly interrogated because everyone is gone but her and the white lady
