     Narcissa had come early to surprise Milah and found herself awfully glad that she did. A low chuckle came from her as she looked the other woman up and down “I can see that” she said, eyes lingering on her towel. She bit her lower lip to hide her smile, leaning back a bit on the bed she was sitting on. “Love the towel” she teased, her eyes moving down to her legs and she found herself admiring her greatly. 

Dove sighs. It was getting closer.

100 years a vampire. 100 years of Robert’s death. 100 years since her baby was born.

And she’s no closer.

God, she was practically turning into Andy and Damon at this point with the drinking. At least she still never went for human blood, but shit.

It’s 9 in the morning and she’s at least not that far bad yet. She’s got coffee, class soon, and is trying to just ignore the passage of time, as if that ever wo--

Fuuuuuuuck. Dove stares at the girl she’d just walked completely into and spilled her coffee on, blinking. “I am. So sorry, holy shit, I’m really in my head right now--” She holds out the napkins that had previously been around her cup to try and offer what little help she could.

It was really easy to make an enemy of Raine, they carried grudges like nobody’s business. Anyone saying something about their gender could await the most terrible of punishments: Raine’s eternal mockery. Among them was a woman named Quinn, who had caught Raine in the act of trying to steal a traffic sign one late night on a dare. Not their usual, since stealing traffic signs was such a bother, and what were they going to do with it anyway? But she had managed to stop them before they could’ve actually taken it off the pole, and not by sheer presence, but because she addressed them as man, referring to them as a him to the bystanders. Raine had jumped off and said some dumb things unrelated to what had actually made them angry, and a pact was forged. 

So when Quinn walked into Lyons about two weeks after the incident, Raine knew they couldn’t let her walk out without at least getting onto her nerves. They walked up to her with a glass of beer in their hands and did the classic ‘oops didn’t see you there’ trick, because it was petty, so perfect. “Sorry, such a waste of beer.”
