It has been three weeks since Double Tap had last seen Bumblebee. The last time that they had hung out together was at the history museum and on their last day of break from work. Now that they had return to work, both bartender and officer have been very busy. They would still keep on contact though, messaging and answering whenever they have the time to do so.Â
But during those three weeks, Double Tap had noticed something strange about himself. It wasn’t something physical. He didn’t physically feel strange. It was something to do within him. He didn’t feel sick nor weak. Just weird. He noticed this sudden strangeness was whenever Bumblebee returned his messages. The green mech would be excite when he sees a reply and then becomes hesitant and thinks over on his reply for more than ten minutes. Usually, he was never this excited for a reply nor nervous on returning the message.Â
There were other times that he would catch himself spacing out and thinking about Bumblebee. Especially at random times! At work, at home and even when he’s either coming from or going to work! Double Tap couldn’t put his digit on it. He couldn’t put his digit on why he was acting or feeling this way.
Finally, at the beginning of the fourth week, the two had learned that they would be off on the same day, which was two days from now. They had set up a plan to meet each other but haven’t thought of a place. Double Tap then learned of a new restaurant that opened two weeks ago and his coworker recommended it to him. Double Tap send a message to Bee and after agreeing, the two mechs set up a time to visit and go to the restaurant.Â
On the evening of their day off, Double Tap was feeling rather nervous to normal. He had cleaned himself up and was waiting in front of the restaurant. He would catch himself tapping his ped and checking his internal clock, as well as wondering where was Bumblebee. Relax! He would not be late. He will be here any minute now. Double Tap constantly reminded himself but with every passing minute, he kept thinking the worse that may had happened.Â
