'We could have flown like pollen' - for me makes me think about the potential friendships in the party (Zolf and Sasha, Wilde and Sasha especially) that could have been if not for the events of the campaign

'But now we're sitting, all alone in the world' - this makes me think about Sasha and Grizzop in ancient rome and Sasha after Grizzop dies, yes she's with cicero and then eventually adopts the kids but she was seperated from everything she knew and her friends

'Trying to write ourselves into history' - partly makes me think of how sasha literally became part of the worlds history being in ancient rome and founding the harlequins and also Hamid and the party in the epilogue talking about writing up their experiences of the events

'We are half-destroyed and paranoid'- makes me think of Wilde in this 18 month timeskip and season 4 (and zolf as well), 18 month timeskip pretty much his whole team is missing and assumed likely dead (until whenever he teamed up with Zolf) and then even when Hamid and Azu return half the party is still dead, and with the lack of trust and paranoid (rightfully so given the situation) everyone has to be in early season 4 and the 18 month timeskip due to the blue veins

'is there trust left anymore' - see previous point about the the mistrust because of the blueveins

'Lost unto a forlorn hope'- makes me think of zolf and his mental state in season 4 he's grieffilled but he's also so hopefull that he got magic from it
