Odin should have left the Jotuns freeze the fuck out of Earth to prevent global warming xD

I remember someone saying that MCU!Thor is bad at fighting some years ago, and it culminated in "we agree to disagree" bc he relies on brute strength due to the breakdown of the fighting sequences, but tbh to me it's one of those things where it has the Doylist explanation that unlike the character, CH is unlikely to be experienced in fighting and this was choreographed. Lol. It's like some movie doctor getting something wrong despite being supposedly a capable doctor. I don't think we're supposed to interpret Thor as anything else than a seasoned warrior.

The first Thor movie is so well-acted. I'm so in awe of it. Usually when I see a random fantasy or sci-fi movie full of absolute cheese, the acting's quite bad. Even if I thought it was entertaining, I am never convinced by the acting, but this one felt so real even with that setting.

I think it's funny how Thor's redemption arc in T1 has... nothing to do with him no longer committing murder or him finally viewing jotunns as people, he just... gets slightly less arrogant and realizes that killing an ENTIRE race is bad. The lesson doesn't stick as TDW!Thor is dedicated to wiping them dark elves off the face of the Nine, but yeah.

I was thinking about the fact that the last thing Loki told Frigga before she died was that she wasn't his mother, while one of the last things Frigga told Loki before she thought he had died in the Void was to stress that he was her son and they were his family.
