MARLEY WOODS: THOMPSON FARMS - Located in the rural farmlands of south-central Missouri, the legendary "Marley Woods" is a fictitious name given to an undisclosed anomalous hotspot investigated by famed UFO trace researcher Ted Phillips. After cataloging "hundreds" of strange encounters by locals throughout the 90s (spook lights, orbs, cattle mutilations, landing traces, physical craft, weird portals), Phillips organized a team of fellow Missouri researchers and conducted a series of onsite field investigations in the first decade of the new century. Phillips' "Special Investigation Unit" (SIU) documented a number of strange aerial anomalies and unusual phenomena - capturing evidentiary data on film and video. Much of the field observation work was centered around the area where this home-made metal sign (decorated with balls of lights, orange orbs, crop circles, weird craft, portals, etc.) now stands. Thompson Farms: this is the Epicenter of the Marley Woods. The anomalous activity reportedly still continues and still remains unexplained. Perhaps waving this banner is recognition of the need to openly investigate anomalous phenomenological localities instead of keeping them a secret?
