Thomas dropped the waste paper bin and cover his face with his hands, breathing slowly. He didn't really know where his mind was right now, but he felt like he'd lost it completely. In that moment he realized how much he really loved Hope and he didn't want to loose her. Priya stepped forward, her clipping heels echoing around the corridor and she placed a comforting hand on Thomas' shoulder. He wanted to brush it off, he really did, now was not the time for small comforts. But he didn't have the energy. Priya turned him to face her and couldn't hide her worry and guilt. She knew that the only reason he could be behaving in such a way is because Hope never made it to the park on time. She had never seen Thomas like this and although she was incredibly jealous of his new found love and disgusted at the thought of it being a student; Priya still loved him, and hated to see him hurt. "Oh, Thomas" she said quietly, "What are we to do with you?" is the only thing she could think of saying as she brought him into an embrace. His face still covered with his hands so that she couldn't see his wet face from tears. Thomas Orson Hunt was still a proud man after all. "I knew it" Thomas instantly pushed Priya off of him and they both turned in shock to see Hope standing at the entrance to the corridor, dripping in rain water and soaked in mud up to her knees and around the rim of her jacket. Thomas' tan jacket on the floor beside her, where she had obviously dropped it upon shock of seeing them both, holding each other. "Hope!" Thomas strained through his sore throat and went to step forward. Hope glared at Priya, not taking her eyes off of her and Priya looked to the floor, ashamed. "Knew, what?" he continued, his brain not quite catching up with the situation. He was just mixed with too much emotion over seeing Hope, who was clearly in distress but also because he was actually seeing her here in front of him. He had a million questions, but he knew he couldn't ask them in front of Priya, he was dying to run over to her, ask if she was okay and find out why she wasn't there to meet him at their bench. "Care to explain, or shall I?" Hope stated sternly. Priya straitened herself up, "I was just leaving" and she turns into the direction of Hope and continues towards the entrance of the University. "I don't think so." Hope states, never taking her eyes off of her. All she wants to do is run into the arms of Thomas. She knew that it wasn't his fault, that he had found himself in a situation where he was being held by Priya; she had instigated the whole thing after all. But that didn't stop her from being hurt by the fact that he could potentially allow himself to be manipulated. What if we had an argument later down the line into the relationship? Would he just run into the arms of another woman...or student...at the first sign of trouble? "Priya. What's going on?" Thomas pleads. Even he can see that something isn't quite right, and now that he has had a chance to get his head together, things are starting to make sense. Hope. The Mud. Her wet clothes. Priya. Her attitude. Her obvious guilt. Her... "You did hear, outside the classroom?" Completely out of character, Priya spins on her heal, a hurt woman and begins to scream into the Professor, "YES. YOU KNOW WHAT? I DID FRIGGIN' HEAR...EVERY LAST BLOODY WORD OF IT." Thomas is taken aback and Hope is also surprised, as she thought she'd have to try and explain everything to Hunt, hoping that he would believe her. "I MADE HOPE STAY AFTER CLASS. I HID ALL THE CLOCKS IN THE ROOM, TOOK HER PHONE AND RESET MY WATCH WHILST SHE WAS IN THE OFFICE TO MAKE SURE SHE DIDN'T SEE YOU!!!" she stops, panting with hot tears running down her face from all the pent up emotion. Thomas looks to Priya, looks to Hope and runs towards her, embracing her in the firmest hug, as if he never wanted to let go. If Priya knew already, what did it matter? "I thought I'd lost you.." he mumbles into her neck and shoulder. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." he continues, he knew he should have trusted her, that she would have wanted to come with him. But he just couldn't help but have doubtful thoughts, sitting in the rain without a trace of her smile. Priya watches them both and feels a sharp pain in her chest from the hurt she is suffering and decides to sneak past them quietly but Thomas senses the movement. "Stop right there." Priya ignores him and continues to walk, as she reaches the door she speaks firmly, without glancing back, "I'll see you on Monday" as if nothing had just happened. "No she won't?" Hope states, but as though it was a question. "No." Thomas replies, smiling down on Hope in his arms. He couldn't quite believe the lengths that woman would go too in order to stop him from seeing Hope, almost to the point of crazy. He emphasizes, "No. She won't."
