She fluttered her eyes at him as he looked at her in detail.
"You're special to me, don't ever let go, ok?" His fingers delicately but rapidly moving their way to her heart.
"Oh...Really?" She blushed, finding it hard to respond as her heart rate increased by the second. "Don't I embarrass you...you know...having a hearing impairment" tears started to form in her eyes, she could barely look at his beautiful face.
"Don't ever say that, your personality shines through like a beam of sunshine. And that's what matters to me. Everyday I learn something new with you, maybe it's something little as learning how to sign "duck" and it is wonderful to be with someone so beautiful in their own little way" she watched his hands move and with each word he was saying, flutters of warmth and security flood through her body. Somebody cares about me. Somebody loves me for the way I am, she thought.
"Thank you, so very much." She said with tears streaming down her cheeks and a soft smile; unbreakable and heart-felt.
A little piece I've just come up with, appreciation for those who have a hearing impairment.
This one's for you as their are little amounts of characters that are deaf or HoH and it's so inspiring. There is so much from sign language: all the little details and how similar it is to spoken language. How can you not include someone like this, they are amazing, just as everyone else
