And the moment you start making excuses to stay with him you should leave.
Leave.
Because you are half past loving straight and your body is shaking as your silent cries echoes through what feels like an entire city, but it's just you, it's you in an empty room clutching your knees to make you feel a little bit less alone.
And you do all of this because he is using all of your insecurities, scraping it up and forcing all of the poisonous words down your throat, this is why it feels like suffocating. He is miles on top of miles away but his hands are still around your neck.
He let's go as soon as all of your soul leaves your body and your fingertips are blue. He gives you your lost breaths with sorry's and excuses. Then you'll go back to pretending everything is fine.
And all of this is okay because you love him, you do,, and you'll keep on loving him past the point where purple hand marks are all that's left on your lifeless body.
