It really is just a place where I can be myself. But isn’t it nice if we could be ourselves anytime and anywhere? Many are afraid to open up and it can lead to insincerity. What I realized is that at the end of our life it’s those whom are most genuine lived a profound one. So this year, I’m going to be more geniune, more honest and more myself -just like children and those whom are dying. It’s just I’m not going to wait till i’m in my death bed to be as me as possible. So, welcome to my “safe space” -whatever this is. Feel free to think of me badly. I don’t give a shit.

Have you ever made a promise that you couldn't keep?  Did you know at the time you had no intention of following through?  

God made a promise…before the world began…with you in mind!

In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, PROMISED before the world began; 3 But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour; (Tit. 1:2-3).

Notice this particular promise is not to Abraham, Isaac or Jacob, though they did get a specific promise from God.  It’s not to David, the man after God’s own heart, though he too was given a very important promise.

God is majestically eternal!  He always was, always is, and always will be.  At some glorious point in eternity past, before the world was established, before stars were hung in the sky and waters were separated, before plants, animals and finally man were formed, God made a promise to himself, swearing on himself  (because there is no one greater!  Heb 6:13) with every intention of following through with that promise because he CANNOT lie!  

What was that promise?  It was the offer of salvation to all men freely, by his grace through faith in the finished work of his son, Jesus Christ.  

This is a trans-dispensational truth, encompassing both Jew or Gentile, rich or poor, free or slave, black or white.

“The Lord is not slack concerning his PROMISES, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)

“Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the PROMISES might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all.” (Rom 4:16)

“That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the PROMISES of the Spirit through faith.” (Gal 3:14)

“But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the PROMISES by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.”  (Gal 3:22)

For all the PROMISES of God in him are YES, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. (2 Cor 1:20)
