𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒚 . . . ⠀ ⠀ . . . I’ve been meaning to post this since Monday, but life got busy and I kinda kept forgetting!⠀ ⠀ At the start of this year I got busy with living - Mr D and I invested our Christmas money in some walking boots and outdoor wear and we were able to get out most weekends • Then February happened and well that all went out the window.⠀ ⠀ I stopped leaning in to what felt good and right, I stopped living and started existing - gone was the feeling of joy and contentment that living had brought, instead February left me feeling stale.⠀ ⠀ But this weekend I was determined to lean into what felt good - we had a lazy Saturday morning, we visited our favourite record store and we got outdoors again • All in all we had a lovely weekend, but still I felt sad and blue when Sunday evening came around ... because I felt I couldn’t continue to lean into what felt good • But I was wrong, I can lean into what feels good every single day!⠀ ⠀ I can buy those flowers, I can go running, I can watch Bake Off, I can wake up a little early and watch the sunrise ...
