カーペンターズでもなくジョージ・ベンソンでもなく、ヘレン・レディによる「ディス・マスカレード」。

（むちゃくちゃシブい選曲ですね）

ボサノヴァ好き。

ドラムのリムショットの音聞くだけでお酒飲める。

（最近お酒まったく飲んでないな）

マスカレードで思い出したのですが、僕が高校生の時、英語のリーダーの授業で外人先生に「マスカレードノハツオンガ、スバラシイデス。リュウガクケイケンアリマシタカ？」と褒めまくられたことを思い出しました。

（工業高校なのにグラマーとリーダーの授業があるという、異常なくらい英語に力を入れた学校だったよな）

工業専門科目の記憶より英語の授業ばっかりだった思い出しかない。

（わかる、英語の時間とっても多かったよね。笑）

今振り返れば最先端。

米国に進出した豪州出身成功者の草分け的存在で、フェミニストのアイコンとしても知られる彼女は「I Am Woman」でオーストラリア人初のグラミー賞受賞。

映画「エアポート’７５」では女優としても出演。
