Since their rather awkward and easily-misconstrued encounter earlier that night, it was a safe bet that Nelliel had quickly adapted to having someone like Kagura as her company. However, if there was malicious intent he'd have surely acted upon by now. At least, that's what she preferred to think.
In the time that had elapsed in preparation for this impromptu outing, the moon --full and pure white like a dinner plate in sky-- had come entirely into their view as if intended for their eyes only. The softened light reflected on the pristine and gentle waters before them, normally a murky blue. They were seated at a wooden area, with only one or two other pairs of people around at this hour. "I admit you weren't wrong about finding a place with a nice view. This is wonderful. I thank you." As much of an understatement as the word 'wonderful' was, she truly could enjoy being here. Having to wait for their food to be delivered to their table was cue enough for idle conversation. Knowing this, Nel would continue. "Earlier, you mentioned living with others. What was that experience like? Do you prefer being alone?" She questioned with a quizzical look, reaching over for her glass of water and taking a generous amount in. There was a bottle of wine that was open for her use, but it was obvious that she was ignoring it. "And what made you offer to do this?"
