no longer need to wear my surgical vest or bandages. took off some tape, though not all of it was ready to come off so no full scars reveal just yet.

but.

I feel so strange... so naked..... never really had a shirt on my bare skin like this. I feel so vulnerable without being swaddled in my bandages.

but! then I applied my t gel and was looking in the mirror shirtless for a bit and... felt a bit better. it feels a little less like an injury with gross stuff going on and a little more like "woah,, I have a CHEST. I look GOOD."

recovery is scary and difficult but we are getting through it :)
