Thirteen Lives (2022) dir. Ron Howard Joel Edgerton as Dr. Richard "Harry" Harris
THIRTEEN LIVES (2022) Grade: B-
An entertaining throwback action-adventure that feels like it could’ve come straight out of an older era of filmmaking. It’s a straightforward, crowd-pleasing story that focuses on keeping the tension high.
Being based on a true story adds another layer, and the intensity never really lets up. The suspense stays strong for most of the runtime, making the 2.5-hour length fly by A well-paced adventure.
