「 The Deviant Hunter 」
Okay now why would you approach that obviously aggressive wild monstrous nightmare? Huh? Huh??? Answer for your crimes you legless scatterbrain
Also just kinda used this to practice drawing fire (Why my first thought to practice drawing fire was set Hiccup on fire???)
Something I always think about is the culture shock that most agents must've experienced in the VP when they all started living together and knowing each other. Everyone had very different lives before Val, everyone comes from different countries, they also believe in different gods (or none at all), the food they like and are used to is also different and oaqiejoqijhajskkjh.
Do they sometimes lie down in bed and miss home? Do they crave for some warm food from their country because it's comforting? Have they secretly not liked the food the person who cooked that day made, because it didn't taste like home? Have they ever felt anxious because of how different everyone's culture is, which leads them to not knowing how to interact with the rest? AND THE LANGUAGE. Being in a place where only you (or only a few people) understand and speak your language, isn't that panic-inducing?
I've personally gotten the chance to be friends with several people (irl and online) outside my culture, and even with people who are from Latam like I am, there's still this little culture shock happening from time to time, so now, imagine how overwhelming it must be to suddenly wake up and have to live in a place full of strangers from countries you don't know.
I also think this has to be where they all bond with each other. Most share the same struggle, and is this struggle and this feeling of being alone that brings them all together in some way. Everyone understands not the language in which is being said but the feeling, and they're all supportive and willing to learn because they understand.
This is as amazing as it is terrifying, and it's also so very special because I believe there's some kind of intimacy in being willing to learn about someone's culture in hopes of understanding them better.
Do i or do I not want snakebites hmmm

pacing around my room whispering ‘that is how meat loves meat’ over and over again while nodding to myself.
from TW: Dude feels he doesnt fit in the fancy restos; he knew it aint for him, but he still tries. Rouge suggested they order takeouts instead and go stay somewhere else...The M.E. shrine was her idea
