This one is so beautiful and well written I cannot emphasize enough.

Katniss and Peeta debate the merits of mankind, its virtue and vice, with District Twelve as a stage. Katniss begins to realize something she won't fully understand until after the rebellion. Canon-compliant CF interlude. Round 4 PiP submission for the sin of pride, though all seven make an appearance.

This one is so fluffy and cosy, ughhhhh loved it. SLight canon divergence tho. This is the only one rest are all canon complaint.

I've always been a little too fixated on the victory tour, it seemed like such a peculiar time in Katniss and Peeta's life. Anyway here are some canon compliant fics to fill in those gaps.

This is probably the most perfect and canon compliant fic you will find about the victory tour. I love how the author pays attention to almost every detail in the books and meticulously pours it into her writing. Any and all dialogue's or perceptions from the character's flowed like butter, I never read a line that made me think Collin's Katniss would never do this. Accurate would be an understatement.

Catching fire: victory tour by orphan_account

While rereading the books I realized Collins brushed over a lot of Peeta and katniss' growth during CF, she sorta just states it and moves on, which obviously is necessary since the series in more was focused. I thought I'd use her descriptions and elaborate on their growth.

Your post about not taking what Katniss says literally reminded me of something else as well.

We end up on the same elevator with her, and she spends the whole ride to the seventh floor chatting to Peeta about his paintings while the light of his still-glowing costume reflects off her bare breasts. When she leaves, I ignore him, but I just know he’s grinning.

This scene is so hilarious because while I do think Katniss reacts like this because she's uncomfortable, it's also her being being jealous and annoyed that another girl is talking to Peeta naked.

The first time I read it, I gave her the benefit of the doubt for being uncomfortable with nudity. But then she says this again.

Johanna Mason is naked again and oiling her skin down for a wrestling lesson. I decide to stay put.

“And so I’m stupid for thinking they might be useful. Because of something Johanna Mason said while she was oiling up her breasts for wrestling,” I retort.

The way she bring up Johanna's breasts again 😭😭

I didn't realize this was large print until I took a picture for the JOMPBPC prompt. Damn, that's large.

I don’t seem to be in the mood to read anything new, so I will reread The Hunger Games.
