Bei ihrer ersten Aktion in den 1990er Jahren tauschten “The Yes Men” die Elektronik von Barbie- und GI-Joe-Sprachpuppen gegeneinander aus und stellten sie zurück in die Geschäfte. Sie veröffentlichten dann eine Erklärung im Namen der „Barbie-Befreiungsorganisation“. Durch die Aktion machen “The Yes Men” vor allem auf weibliche und männliche Stereotypen aufmerksam.

A Message From the Director The Guantanamo Bay Museum of Art and History, located at the former site of the Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp in Cuba, is an institution dedicated to remembering the U.S. prison which was active between 2002 and 2012 before it was permanently decommissioned and closed. The museum features a large variety of facilities including the Tipton-Three Exhibition Space, the Jumah al-Dossari Center for Critical Studies, as well as an extensive array of public programming.

In their latest stunt, the Yes Men took to the streets of New York posing as representatives of Shell. They handed out free shaved ice cones which they claimed were "remnants of the last icebergs of the North Pole."
