kaifman is the type to not care what gender they're perceived as, it's kind of anything that fits the bit. you know that scene in chowder where mung daal is dressed up as a woman and asks if pretty ladies get free samples? yeah. that's them. when asked for comment by them i was told "it don't matter. none of this matters." i default to they but you can call them anything so long as it's not late for dinner.
orientation is similar to them.. it's not something they think about, what point is there to doing all that work for something menial? at least, in the kind of world they live in, they'd find it pretty menial.
besides, they already have someone they're interested in, so nobody else really needs to know who they'd like, right? they don't know that person's identity for certain, of course, they've actually never met. kaifman wonders about it every now and again, but they have a lot to wonder about when their believed soulmate has been mia for such a long time.
