Can you believe it’s been seven years? Seven years?! Since I entered the rpc??? (I mean I made my first rp blog in 2012 but didn’t rp fully until 2013 lmao.) And I’ve never ever made a follow forever or official thank you thing ever??? I guess I answer memes but I’ve never officially gone out and made a thing to properly thank people lol.

So here’s a thing! Since I came back to the rpc this year, I’ve honestly felt more appreciated than ever, and even though I’ve recently done a meme for this kind of thing I want to do an official kind of thing to thank you guys for following me all the way to the end of this year! Also, I’ve made it to the end of 2019 and uni hasn’t killed me yet so we might as well celebrate that whilst we’re at it.

I’m going to start off by thanking all of my wonderful followers for actually following me upon my return to the rp world! It really feels like I was gone forever and part of me was worried that I’d come back to nothing or very few of my old partners, but you’ve all honestly welcomed me back with open arms and I’ve even met some new people! You’re all so kind and friendly and have such wonderful characters/canon depictions that if I had the mental energy or time (or, you know, the ability to be social without being awkward around new people), I would be threading with more of you! But I am an exhausted fool so obviously that isn’t happening yet. But I just want to let you know that I love you all and am so thankful for you guys making it to the end of 2019 with me!

“I feel stupid,” Veronica grumbled through gritted teeth, the tips of her fingers digging into the sides of her phone. She spoke just loud enough for the receiving end to hear, but low enough for no one to hear how embarrassing this was for her. “Why did I agree to this?”

“Because you made the mistake of admitting you were lonely to me,” Amber replied from the other end. Veronica could just hear the amusement in her voice. “And you need to do something other than Netflixing it up with your dog. Put on your big girl panties and head inside!”

It was almost like she knew Veronica was pacing outside the restaurant she was suppose to walk into and face her mystery suitor. Blind dates are so clichè. Do people even still go on those anymore?

          Quinn can’t help but to roll her eyes at the other’s exclamation. The detective didn’t have time for such complaints especially when it’s nothing but a slight case of the clouds crying. She stares at Bailey for a moment before stripping herself of her jacket and plopping it down on her head. “Relax. It’s not going to kill you. Now, can we figure out this case? I have a lot of paperwork to do.”

Jake gave a quick smirk at that, before he wrapped his arms around her, nuzzling his face into her neck. Sure he had to be sitting down to do that, because his woman was tiny and adorable, but that didn’t change the fact that he enjoyed doing it.

Jodie had to cringe as she was pushed up onto the stage byher friends. Honestly, she didn’t want to do this – it hadn’t been her idea tocome here, and really all she wanted to do was have a couple of drinks and headback.

A small group of campers had decided it was about time theysneak out and have some fun on the town. A dangerous and stupid idea,considering two of them were children of Poseidon, but they did it anywaysimply because they could.

For some reason, they thought it would be a good idea to goto karaoke, and she really hadn’t wanted to sing at all. She hated singing infront of people.

She was a daughter of Ares. They didn’t sing in frontof people.

Still she got up onto that stage, looking out to where allher friends sat, and took the microphone. Hesitating, she looked out over thecrowd before her eyes met Alex’s. Seeing his smile, she gave her own(uncharacteristically) nervous one before taking a deep breath.

And then the lyrics came up on the screen in front of her.

“How did it get to three a.m. …”

A smile spread on Alex’s face. Oh, he definitely rememberedthis song. Jodie had casually sung this song to him in the infirmary a coupleof times, saying it was one of her favourites. Something about it being a cutebut dumb love song that had been stuck in her head for quite a while. She wastoo stubborn to admit that it was because of him.

Getting to the chorus, Alex found his eyes were locked withhers as she sang, “I don’t want to be alone; you see, I want to be with you…”His cheeks tinted pink as the grin on his face grew, though his blush darkenedwhen he realised he was being nudged by his sister.

Who’s the first to wake up in the morning: they both wake at the same time, actually! alex’s alarm is loud so they just both get up with it

Who’s the one to make breakfast: jodie makes breakfast whilst alex jumps into the shower

Who’s the one to serve the other breakfast in bed: alex jokingly suggests jodie should do it. she calls him a lazy ass and tells him to get out of bed and get his own damn food

Who would suggest a quickie in the morning before work: alex would be halfway out the door, turn around and walk back in to suggest it. jodie would stare at him for all of five seconds before walking out and he’d start bargaining with a car quickie

Who suggests they both ditch work to lay around all day: probs jodie actually! and then she’d remember she runs a foster home with a bunch of chaotic kids and take it back

Who chooses the movies: they play rock paper scissors for who gets to pick

Who initiates kissing during the movie, thus distracting the other from the movie all together: alex tries to distract her with the kisses. it works like 90% of the time

Who orders lunch: alex does! and then he visits jodie in her office and proceeds to embarrass them both bc all the kids can see she’s having a lunch date and they need to know who this business guy is pls and thank

Who steals food from the other’s plate without asking: they steal from each other. alex is the only one who gets mad at the stealing bc jodie always steals the best parts

Who curls up next to the other and falls asleep due to a full tummy: alex 100% does whilst jodie runs her fingers through his hair

Who distracts the other from trying to work at home: they try not to distract each other, actually. they share the office so 90% of the time it’s just them passing each other pens and books and files that they need from opposite ends of the room

Who asks to go get ice cream like a five year old: are you kidding me they’re both five year olds. one of them suggests it and they both run straight to the nearest gelato place

Who takes pictures of their partner eating ice cream: they take selfies together!

Who makes a sexual joke about the dripping ice cream on their partner’s face: alex does it to make jodie blush. sometimes it backfires and she makes him blush twice as hard

Who cooks dinner: they do it together like a cute domestic couple and it works out brilliantly

Who cleans up the kitchen afterwards: they put it off for ages until they both realise they need the kitchen for breakfast the nest morning and clean it together

Who stays up until 2 reading: usually alex. jodie then turns off his lamp bc it woke her up in the middle of the night go the fuck to bed

Who stares at their partner while their sleeping: alex does. he tends to wonder how he could’ve got so lucky

D3. how do they decorate their own room?

With a lot of green. I’m not even kidding. She loves the colour green a lot - soft greens, like forest green and light green. She also... actually loves succulents, but don’t ever let her know that you know that. So she has a couple of those on her windowsill wherever she goes, no matter the verse. Otherwise, her walls just have loads of pictures of her friends all over them. She also has her bass guitar on a stand in the corner, next to an amp. Other than that, there isn’t much decoration in her room other than the usual furniture and her study stuff all over her desk.

A4. what things are they bad at?

Shutting up. Educationally wise, she’s not the greatest at maths. She could probably bash out an essay in a night, but she’s always been pretty bad with numbers. It’s not a natural thing to her. Letting people past her aggressive side is another thing she’s “bad” at. She tends to appear intimidating to everyone to filter out the “trash”.

Y5. what’s your favorite thing about them?

How forward and confident she is. I honestly wish I was more like that irl, or even on here. I’m always anxious about my actions and wondering if I did the right thing, and she just does things first and thinks about the consequences later, and that takes a lot of guts.

P4. what of their personality do others envy?

Probably her confidence, and the fact that it’s so “out there”. She’s able to just step forward and speak, and not many people can do that. She’s also pretty good at articulating herself - a lot better than most people would think. After all, she’s a debater, and a politics graduate/student. She knows how to create arguments, and create them well.

R5. do they find any rules they/others follow absolutely ridiculous?

A lot of Allie’s “religious rules” are ones she definitely finds ridiculous, even though she’s ber best friend. She understands the reasoning behind some of them, and the fact that Allie doesn’t just keep them for religious reasons but for personal reasons, but she still considers them dumb and has a very different viewpoint on the world.
