Before I animate a shot, I make lil test renders.
We've got:
Kevin testing Sha.
The gang on the K-9 floor, with the orthographic camera to make everything flat.
Test render of Ashley with the flashlight. This was important, because I don't use lighting. Everything (except the flashlight) just has a dark vertex color, to put it in a sort of pretend-dark, while the light beam has none.
Ashley in the endo room. I was thinking of blocking out parts of the light, but I like this. I like it just cutting through things.
Ashley in the parts room. I didn't want to make Lil Bon renders for the cutouts, so I just used one I had of Lil Sha!

genuinely nervous about how the walten files fanbase is gonna act when twf5 comes out. I’ve never seen a fandom that is so easily baited before. And even excluding bait, people are gonna not like the series/hate it/think its ok at best and the walten files fandom has historically had problems accepting criticism
