When I was first told what puberty was, I wasn't looking forward to the boobs, bras or hips. Oh no, I wanted my period. My little mind ignored the fact that every month blood would be gushing out of me, but instead focused on the main thing; the girls who got it, they were given things like jewelry, or taken out to nice places to "commemorate" the "special event". However, I thought you got the special treatment /every/ month. Imagine my face when I told my mom I got my period the second time and nobody made a big deal.
