TSC’s Treasure Hunter Challenge
Check out the new and improved Treasure Hunter Challenge for The Sims 4 ❤
Are you ready for something challenging and, most importantly, a whole lot of fun? Welcome to The Sims 4 Treasure Hunter Challenge! In this challenge, your Treasure Hunter must make his living by finding and selling "treasures" or collectables found throughout the neighborhoods. Starting off with a measly §50 might make for a rather unpleasant start for your Treasure Hunter, but hey it's supposed to be a challenge right? So let's get to it and find out if your Treasure Hunter will be a natural plunderer or an epic blunderer!
Getting Started Step 1: Create a YA in CAS Step 2: Move Sim onto an empty lot Step 3: Start out with §50 *Depending on what size lot you buy, you may need to use the following cheats to get down to §50: sims.modify_funds +[enter amount] to add money sims.modify_funds -[enter amount] to subtract money.
Rules • This challenge should be played with your Sim lifespan set to "Normal" in game options. • No jobs, at all! You may open a business (GTW) and sell your treasures. • Selling frogs and insects is allowed. • Selling fish, produce, and upgrade parts is not allowed. • Making simoleans from paintings, performing (music, jokes, etc), or writing (books, music, etc) is not allowed. The only exception to this is that your Treasure Hunter may write one book, presumably about his adventures of treasure hunting, and self-publish it. • Each time your Treasure Hunter finds or grows a Cowplant berry, they must plant it. • You may not sell your treasure maps. Ever. What good is a Treasure Hunter if they sell their treasure maps anyways? It is encouraged to use them to "dig for treasure" to earn some extra points. • Only NPC's and townies are allowed to join the family. Custom NPC's/townies are allowed. • Your Treasure Hunter must get married and have at least 1 child. • You may use alien pregnancy or adoption to gain your offspring in addition to the "old fashioned way." • Your house can be as small/large as you wish and can be decorated however you wish. • Rewards Store items are allowed. • Hacks and cheats are not allowed, unless specifically addressed. • Custom content is allowed, as long as the prices are reasonable (no §1 furniture and things like that). • The challenge is complete when your Treasure Hunter dies. • At any time in the challenge, you may not exit without saving.
Points • Each simolean (not net worth) is worth 1 point • Cowplant berries are worth 300 points • Death of a Cowplant (accidental or otherwise) is -500 points • Finding a treasure map is worth 200 points • Digging for treasure with a treasure map is worth 100 points • Each earned skill is worth 100 points • Self-Publishing your Treasure Hunting book is worth 100 points • Fulfilling your first lifetime aspiration is worth 5000 points • Fulfilling each additional lifetime aspiration is worth 2000 points • Each time your utilities are disconnected from not paying bills is -1000 points • Each friendship earned is worth 100 points • Each friendship lost is -200 points • Marriage is worth 500 points • Each child is worth 100 points • Each child taken by the Social Worker is -500 points • Accidental death of a Sim is -2000 points • Death of your Treasure Hunter (accidental or otherwise) is instant disqualification

Have fun and good luck!
