Wait hang on I got in trouble for League bara on Twitter? This is a fascinating bit of my lore that I was not aware of! Granted, I have tried actively to purge Twitter from my consciousness, so I've probably just forgotten, but this one I kind of want to remember.

What happened? What did I do? I'm genuinely fascinated to know!

Anyway, as I've said before, I'm not really a furry, claiming that would kind of be stealing valor, I've just been around enough of them that a fursona manifested autonomously, and I used to take commissions from furries among other clients.

BACKSTORY Once upon a time, there was a family of smart and strange minds. Father was a surgeon, performing on his own and ignoring technologies such as med machines. Mother was a scientist of beliefs so conservative that they were called obsolete in the Multiverse. She was an alchemist.

Their oldest child did not want to join them and went on a journey to find her own purpose. Was it all about adventures and discoveries, it seems. Their younger son helped them where he could, yet would rather follow his sister to anywhere she went.

His name is Cornelius. And this is a story about him.

Was his childhood full of happy memories, but it didn't last as long as it supposed to. It ended way too fast, in the day when his dearest sister didn't come back alive from their last adventure.

The day after, Cornelius vowed to himself that he would devote his whole life to science. He believed he had no other choice left. Many years of studying, experiments and hardships later, he managed to make it and be employed for a very important job, in one of the top secret laboratories the government set on the run for very secret goals. With funding and some decent equipment, Cornelius managed to fix his mother's horrible mistakes and bring his dearest sister back to life.

Little he knew, no happily ever after happened.

One day, soon after a set of his last tests, something peculiar happened. Something that changed Cornelius forever. Some of the test objects turned out to be non objects, but sentient individuals. One of them managed to escape and went really homicidal, while another one reached out to Cornelius' mind and saved him. Together they escaped and ended up in a place known as 'the Office'.FACTS

This guy is a scientist, obviously

He is introverted, secretive and a very closed one. The chance of him befriending you and telling you his backstory is tiny, but it’s possible (if you won’t pry too hard)

He has a habit or repeating the same words when he is nervious and / or feeling …unwell

For some reason Cornelius does not express much of emotions

He works in his laboratory (an office room #999, the secret-not-so-secret door behind its bookcase), almost all the time. Sometimes he leaves it, to wander around for a bit and have a cup of coffee

He used to have a chip connected to his brain. That one is an archive of interdimensional human knowledges. It has a side effect — the reload of memory that causes to forgetting people / everyday events

Once in while a strange white light can fill his eyes and make him to behave like a ‘robot’. Though he is still a human being

He loves cats. He won’t pass by if he spots a cat. He will bother it with cuddling and petting
