He has ACTUALLY had enough of you.

Setting the scene… he’s had a terrible day at his job, oil all over himself and tools for shit. Genuinely thinking of murdering the random Joe.

All he can think about is finally getting his hands on his sweet dear writer at home, bet you’d look so cute so exhausted from work and clinging onto him like a pet after a person dares to imply they’re gonna come in through the door. He genuinely can’t wait.

So, he calls you… aaaand you don’t pick up.

He texts you asking if you want him to bring anything home for you, some takeout, thinking it would be a nice idea to rewatch the Saw series with you over some stir fry noodles, and after going to the gym AND his job? And being a guy as tall as he is? He’d need some sort of fuel.

You still don’t text, whatever. Maybe you’re asleep. His DMs still show up on the PC you write from, your phone, and tablet. Plus, he programmed it to know when his messages are muted just to piss them off and yours aren’t.

It’s not a rare sight to see you asleep, so he opens the door calls out a “I’m home darlin” just in case, closes the door with his foot (only one of his hands are busy cause I just know the guy will hold the keys and nine bags on one arm for the sake of it, the others just in his pocket to look nonchalant) and yeah, dead silence. You’re asleep, he hopes.

Then he sets things down in the kitchen and enters your room oh fuck shit you have a SHOT WOUND in the center of your forehead and you’re lying limp on a desk blood everywhere.

His eyes scan the area while he runs towards you, no forced entry, no sharp objects near you, nothing.

“Y/N? Y/N ARE YOU OKAY?” Yeah you turn around and grunt “what is it Ro.”

“Hey… ya think I could maybe ask why the fuck you’re sleeping with a cosmetic gun wound and scaring the shit outta me for no reason?”

“Makeup. Hobby. Forgot to take off. It’s fun try it.”

Ronin is anything but a hitter. He hates hitters and abusers with a passion and this is all jokes but right now, he could GENUINELY throw your ass put through a window rhe hell you mean “makeup. Hobby.”

“Don’t… do that again. Maybe next time wipe that gaping flesh hole clean off your face before ya over work yourself to death? Fucking loser.” He’s terrified his heart is beating SO fast and you perhaps actually caught him worried about you which he cannot have happen.

“Mhm…” you daze back off into sleep, he grunts an “ugh” SO loud you hear it in your dream and flicks the fake blood off your forehead and wipes it off himself before carrying you to head. And flicking your forehead again. And covering your nose with the blanket both to make you sneeze and sniffle and 20% to remind him you’re all tucked in and cozy in his arms and you’re not going anywhere.

He takes note of how impressive the fake blood is, and with a YouTube tutorial or two, you wake up to him lying on the floor massacred like a corpse and yelp, before he gets up like a zombie to see your terrified face and just LAUGHS and asks if you can’t handle a taste of your own medicine.

“Ronin all I did was sleep with some cosmetics on your arm is literally dismembered across the room. How do you explain that.”

He probably used toilet cleaners and marshmallows and toothpicks to do that bro he’s Ronin Beaufort.

In all seriousness, he is a bit more protective about you for a while. To see you in that state, the way Ther was, massacred and torn apart… he fears it a lot but to see it? To think he dropped his guard too much for once? That does something to him for a while.
