My thoughts so far (cont.): Next to Cristin’s character (Emma), Sam & Violet are definitely my favorites, I love their dynamic and banter. The last thing I saw Skyler Gisondo starring in was The Quarry, I really liked his character in that game, so seeing him in a role in The Resort has been such a cool surprise. In many ways Sam & Max are quite similar as characters with their dialogue, mannerism and awkwardness that’s adorable to watch.

The texts reading scene was just so freaking hilariously well done. *chef's kiss* I’m still laughing.

My thoughts so far: So happy I have another show to watch Cristin Milioti in after Made for Love ended. I’m absolutely hooked on the story so far, I expected the series to be something like The White Lotus, but I’m actually loving it way more than TWL as writing and characters. On top of the great cast, the show combines humor, tension and mystery so well, I’m super excited to see what the next episodes would bring.

The movie has been shot in 2019, with Quavo, the hip-hop artist who helped produce it right after being pushed by the main producer.
