#JackedKirby - RIP Steve Ditko!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Even though this is a page dedicated to Jack and his work, every once in a Blue we gotta show some respect for other inspiring creators... and even better if he actually WORKED with Jack! Steve Ditko is right up there with Jack as one of the most important men in Comic Book History. He is gone at the age of 90 and we had to tip the cap to the man responsible for Spidey, Dr Strange, Mr A, The Question, Hawk & Dove and all my favorite Ghost Manor comics for Charleton Comics!!! 💥💥💥 In honor of Steve let’s take a look at Fantastic Four #Issue13 (published in April of 1963) which is of course drawn by Jack by inked by Ditko... a classic tale that introduces both the Watcher & the Red Ghost in their first appearances. The Spider-Man series had just started in March of 63 and Ditko was doing some random inking assignments, some which overlapped with Jack’s pencils. He also inked a few issues of the Hulk series and some others. 💥💥💥 The first pic is the title page with the credits box, and pic 2 & 3 are the non colored and colored Final page of the story.
